Never heard about Nicholas Sparks but then I´m on the other side of the puddle! :D
Gonna see if it´s available around here...

That sounds like an interesting read!

Julie Billingsley 04-02-2012 12:35 PM

hmmmm... I might read it. I like reading stories about military personnel, especially Marines as my DH was a Marine. I've never read a Nicholas Sparks book though.

Keely~B 04-02-2012 12:37 PM

I can't stand Nicholas Sparks. :o

Here are a few from my to read list:

Bloodroot

DIg

The House At Tyneford

Unsaid

Ready Player One

I was looking at the cover of The Lucky One and was admiring the bicep on the guy :o when I realized he looked familiar. I went to IMDB and just about laughed my head off when I realized it was Zac Effron.

jk703 04-02-2012 02:05 PM

LOL @ Jullie! Admiring Zac!!!! :)

I'm up to read a good book, and I'm open to anything!

On the Island by Tracey Garvis Graves is an excellent book. (and only $2.99 for the ebook!)

Are you all still choosing? I don't really have any suggestions, but am always looking for a good read. I'm finishing the Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest right now, so will be ready for something new this weekend. Of course I did pick up the Hunger Games to read after all I have heard about it here. :)

BrattyMeg 04-06-2012 01:23 PM

We haven't yet..lets just go with The Lucky One for this month :)

Lorie I just reread the whole trilogy...as good the 2nd time around as the first! :)

I was at Target yesterday and they had The Lucky One in paperback for $5.99 so I got it instead of the Kindle edition.

I've really loved it. I watched the movie last weekend and thought they did a pretty good job with it, except the Harriet reveal, but I had to hide my eyes at the most violent scenes. I know they were integral to the plot, but such cruelty is tough to comprehend much less watch. It's such a shame that their won't be more books from this man. He was very talented.

I will see if I can find the April book and get it read. I've not read a thing by Nicolas Sparks before. I am much more of a mystery/thriller reader than a romance reader and he is romance, right? No matter, a good book is a good book. :)

This sounds good. And I'm almost done with Faefever, so I'll pick this up next :)
