Printing Kits

Hello!

I?ve tried searching and cannot find anything but where do you print your kits? Specifically 12x12. I don?t want it printed on photo paper but that?s all I seem to be able to find. Thanks.

Teri, are you asking where we print completed digitally-created layouts? Or are you looking to print the individual components of a kit instead?

Personally, I use a wide-format inkjet printer and a variety of papers to print papers and what-not for hybrid craft projects. Mine is an Epson that I don't think you can buy anymore, but PC Magazine posted this article on wide-format printers for 2024. If you find one that's set up for 12-13" wide media, you'll be in great shape:

Their prices range from $150-1,500, depending on features.

I know you can also use a local copy shop to print "oversized" files on regular paper, though you'd have to contact them directly to determine if it's acid & lignin free. Staples and Office Depot, for example, can do colored prints that are larger than 11" wide.

I use Persnickety Prints...they usually run sales during National Scrapbooking Day or International Scrapbooking Day.

Thank you. I’m thinking of printing the kits to use for paper scrapbooking. I like making chipboard albums and so many amazing kits would be awesome for that.

I print my hybrid stuff at home as well. It allows me print only what I need at the time that I need it.

I have an Epson 2850 eco tank and love it!!!

I used to have a printer at home that printed 12 x 12 and I ordered my 12 x 12 cardstock from Stampin' up. If you do not have a 12 x 12 printer, you would need to put what you want printed on an USB and take it to someplace like Office Depot to get it printed on 12 x 12. Just check with your local stores.

I do not do a lot of paper crafting any longer but I do like to print small elements on sticker paper for use with my Prayerful Planners. I have an Epson Eco Tank printer like Esther and I love it!

I have a Canon G3270, it's a super tank printer like the Epson. I buy matte presentation paper, double-sided even if I only use one side because I like the thickness of it (Staples brand). Budget wise I should probably get over myself and use the one-sided, lol. I then use the print and cut feature on my Cricut for elements and just print letter size for papers.
