Wreckage - Have You Read This?

I think a couple of you picked this up as a Kindle first book back in February... it was $1.99 yesterday, so I grabbed it and am already done with it and I dont know how I feel about this one, so I thought I would see what you guys thought.

I was totally captivated by the story for the most part but the ending of the book just seemed kinda... lame? Was anyone else disappointed by the big reveal or the secrets etc?

Like... I couldn't stop reading and wanted to finish, but maybe it was just too tidy of an ending for me?

Any thoughts on this one?

Oh, I'll be following this thread. Wreckage is on my "want to read" list.

Yes! I felt the same way!

I read it back in February, and like you, I was super intrigued by the story. I flew through the book, but the ending did leave me a little empty. It turned something that had the potential to be a really memorable book into a "nice" story.

Like you said, it was just too tidy and not all that surprising. As I was reading it, I kept thinking, "This is gonna be GOOD!" And I was definitely left feeling disappointed. Like I said, it was just nice. In fact, it was so forgettable that when you posted this thread, I actually had to stop and think about how the book actually ended. LOL

I still think it was a fun read, and I don't regret spending the time on it. But the ending left a lot to be desired.
