Sweet Shoppe Challenge Bingo: May 2015
Sweet Shoppers, National Scrapbook Day is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate the hobby you love than to scrap like crazy over the next 31 days for our inspiring Bingo challenges! The incredible SugarBabe Juli helped me out with this month's bingo card and I think she did an awesome job coming up with fun prompts to make this month's card special!
I know you guys are eager to get started, so read on for all of the details on our 2015 challenge system... The Low-Down To play along, check out this month's Bingo card and start planning your strategy for earning the discount you want. Our Bingo challenges are designed to be fairly simple, straightforward and open to interpretation for the most part, so have fun with them! Remember, as long as you try to scrap in the spirit of the challenge as it's posted, you'll be just fine, but let us know if you have any questions! Note: challenges in quotes indicate a word or phrase which should appear as shown on your layout. Sweet Rewards Traditional Bingo: To earn a 20% discount, you'll need to scrap 5 challenges in a row in any direction. Once you've completed a challenge, resize your layout to 175 x 175px (which fits perfectly in a bingo square) and put it on the corresponding spot of the challenge on your bingo card! Save your completed card and post it to this thread by midnight on June 1st, 2015, and our lovely challenge fairy, Lydia, will automatically send you your Sweet Rewards of 20, 30 or 40% off depending on the pattern on your card the second full M-F of every month! The Nitty Gritty You must use Sweet Shoppe products for the bulk of your page. Outside templates, minor accents, etc. are perfectly ok as long as at a glance the page is obviously created with products from our shoppe and designers! Challenges MUST remain where they appear on the card. You MAY NOT scrap 9 layouts of your choice and simply put them in the corresponding pattern to earn a discount. Obviously due to the size of the layouts on the tracker card, it would be difficult for us to check each challenge in detail to make sure it matches with the challenge, but we know we can count on our amazing community to play by the rules. More Sweet Stuff As if all of this weren't sweet enough, I'm excited to share that EVERYONE who posts a bingo card in a month with at least one line complete will be entered to win their choice of a kit from this month's Featured Designers Yari & Erica! At least 4 lucky winners will be chosen from the field of challenge participants to win these sweet treats which is just awesome! On that note, I'm going to let you get to work!! I was starting to wonder the same thing. Already spent my money, but I'm still hoping to win something as well :)

Maybe it's a good idea for the ssd staff to set an date when the winners will be announced so it might not be forgotten. I totally understand why people are looking out for this. Putting all those hours in their bingo cards and then at the end have to ask everytime for the winners... I guess it might give the feeling that it is not important wich is no fun for anybody. I also wonder almost every month when the winners are announced. I love this shop but I really think this is not positive for all those players out there who are spending their money and all of their time on the bingo cards. Maybe we can think of a way together to improve?

So sorry for the delay. Robin had to make another unplanned trip out of town, and I know things won't be back to normal for her for a couple more days at least. I did send her an email earlier today reminding her to select winners, but since I haven't heard back, I'm going to go ahead and post winners in just a little bit. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding. I'm gonna go ahead and put a reminder on my personal calendar for it so that I can remind her just in case things continue to be crazy while she takes care of things with her mom. |

So sorry for not getting to this myself girls! My life has been chaos this month... AGAIN. My elderly mom is really ill, and I needed a break from all of the stress and sadness so I spent a little time with a friend this weekend to kinda get away from it all. I ended up SUPER sick yesterday with some kinda of plague my kiddoes brought home last week, but I'll be checking my inbox to get those prizes out as soon as I hear from the winners! I thought "oh hey I need to do that ASAP this month" on the 1st, knew that the deadline to get cards posted hadn't passed and then promptly had my brain to go mush on the 2nd and here we are. Seriously... BE THOSE PEOPLE and feel free to PM me on the 2nd or 3rd to poke me for prizes!! I really won't mind and will likely greatly appreciate the nudge <3 Sincere thanks for being so patient with me the last couple of months! I truly appreciate it! R |
