CONTEST: It's been awhile...RE: Wordart
 

Hey guys. I haven't gotten any community feedback in a while as far as wordart themes, so I thought I would ask as I am widdling down my list from before. I do have 'Goals' coming up, which will be great for New Years Resolution type pages and the like, but not much else is on the radar. Any suggestions?

Keep in mind, the more unique a theme is...the harder it is for me to find 10 quotes that would be appropriate for it. SO, take a look at what I have in the shoppe, and put your thinking caps on because I also have a little contest for you. :)

If you are interested in having 10 of your favorite quotes come alive in the form of some sweet wordart, keep reading! I want to see your very best scrapbook page using one of my ornamental wordart pieces. I will choose one page as my favorite, and the creator of that page will win a custom wordart set. You pick the quotes, I make the wordart and you get the set which will be named after YOU, for FREE. :)

This is a really great opportunity to dig deep and get some great embellishments, so I hope you all will play along!

Manda - would you maybe please consider extending the deadline? i'd love to, but there's just no way for this CPA* mama to get a page done by midnight tonight . . . :( (*Friday is a tortuous tax deadline)

Wellllll..I think since only a handful of people have played along, I can extend it for another day. :) Hope that's OK with everyone. Would Saturday by 2pm EST be good? OK..it is done. HAHA

well. I say you only extend the deadline if you give the already posted folks a freebie :p j/k...I think that it is great that you are gonna extend...and I actually viewed the thread a couple of times before posting because I had to reread the rules :)

Here's a theme idea from me

scrapbooking

I second (or is it third?) word art for hybrid - general stuff like various birthdays, just because, sorry, thinking of you, thanks, with love, Happy Easter/ Valentine etc.... :)

How about wordart for:

• remembering things/ occasions (to note it, rather than from a rememberance point of view)
• oops/ blooper moments
• together times for friends (maybe include some suitable for those snaps of your kids with their best friends rather than just for photos of the adults with their mates?)
• 'When Good Kids Go Bad' (said in the voice of Sherrif whatever-his-name-is!) - I know you already have wordart for boys 'n girls, but how about for when they're PITA's?
• Random selection for occasions like passing your driving test, new job, new home...
• Foodie quotes for those photos of kids covered in chocolate, baking disasters and successes, cooking with kids, family get-together meals?

I think someone already mentioned vaccations (you could go for the big family type, Disney, hen/ batchelor weekends and the grown up weekends away), but I second that idea too!

I would love this, I have a terrible time finding great stuff for cards!
