For some reason, I feel the need to share this...
I personally don't know the family (they are acquaintances of my parents), but this has consumed my mind all week and my heart is aching for them. I find myself checking her blog to get updates everyday. I am sure they would appreciate prayers for their family.
Click here to read the story I linked you up to the first post. She has updated the blog several times since then if you want any updates. |
Wow, what a story! Those poor parents. I hope all goes well with him and they will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Their family is definitely in my prayers. I can't imagine what they are going through. |
oh my gosh. I can't even imagine. what a horrible, horrible situation.
Oh wow! That is so sad! Thanks for sharing this story.
Wow I have tears just pouring down my face right now. I had a similar situation where I turned around for just one second to get a towel and shampoo for my daughter and she slipped and fell in the tub and was under the water along with a huge bump on her head where she hit the faucet. She was just over 2 when that happened. She was ok...although they thought she had a hairline fracture next to her eye from the fall and had to undergo alot of tests. I also got questioned over and over about how it happened and where I was and they talked to her alone as well. Accidents happen though and this mom will need to know that and be reminded of that no matter what happens with her son. I pray this little one will be ok though!! It sounds like he is one of the lucky ones. Such a hard painful thing for a family to go through!!
Wow - definitely praying for them!

Oh my goodness. I am just bawling here. So very heartbreaking. I will be following their blog and praying like crazy for the family and especially that sweet little boy.
I actually read the story earlier today and was literally in tears. Our family could have been in their shoes. My ex-SIL left my 9 month old nephew and 1 1/2 year old neice alone in the tub for a "few minutes" to answer the phone. She came back to him lifeless floating in the water. His story ended much better. He was fully awake and reactive by the time the helicopter got to the Phoenix Children's hospital and he shows no lasting effects. Reading their story made me give thanks yet again.
M prayers are with their family. |
Oh my gosh, my heart breaks for that family.
How terrible! I hope he'll be fine!
