Ugh. I LOVE Christmas movies. It is SOOOO hard to pick just one! *sigh* My 2 faves are The Polar Express and Elf. I cheated a little. I could name so many more though haha.

BrattyMeg 12-01-2014 08:27 PM

Love Polar Express

Love Christmas Movies in general *swoon*

MamaBee 12-01-2014 08:28 PM

It's a tie between Love Actually and Christmas Vacation - I have to watch both each year or it's just NOT Christmas... :)

mariewilcox 12-01-2014 08:29 PM

Hmm, honestly I really don't have a favorite... I like the Santa Clause movies though. Charlie Brown Christmas was my favorite Christmas show growing up though.

Sweeet 12-01-2014 09:37 PM

Polar Express
Santa Clause

MissKim 12-01-2014 09:53 PM

Elf

The best way to spread Christmas Cheer is singing loud for all to hear. (Pretty much my motto 365 days a year.)

misfitinmn 12-01-2014 10:04 PM

Elf! I just love Elf. We haven't watched it yet this year!

Also, this version of Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer:

Libby Pritchett 12-01-2014 10:04 PM

Elf & A Christmas Story -- I cant choose just 1!

Jjriward 12-01-2014 10:16 PM

Christmas Vacation and Home Alone!

carriesmom 12-01-2014 10:18 PM

White Christmas and Charlie Brown Christmas.

NeverendingJen 12-01-2014 10:31 PM

White Christmas. I can't wait to see it in theaters this year!

lovely1m 12-01-2014 10:42 PM

Elf, the Santa Clause movies or the cartoon Grinch.

jacinda 12-01-2014 10:59 PM

I don't have one. Is that weird? We don't really watch Christmas movies much, so haven't developed a favourite. I do like Christmas family movies, but I don't watch the same ones over and over.

littlekiwi 12-01-2014 11:05 PM

I don't have one either.

jacinda 12-01-2014 11:16 PM

I wonder Jenn, if it's because we're in summer, so spend most of our time outdoors. Kids don't come inside till it's almost time for bed.

YepBrook 12-01-2014 11:17 PM

The Grinch who stole Christmas, Home Alone... and A Muppet Christmas Carol.

Julie Billingsley 12-01-2014 11:33 PM

The original Miracle on 34th Street is my favorite. I also love the Santa Clause and Elf.

My husband, who is normally a tough, gruff, ex-Marine, LOVES Christmas movies. He starts watching ABC Family as soon as the Christmas movies come out. It really melts my heart to see him so into any Christmas movie- romance, comedy, drama. He loves them... except for Elf. That is his most hated movie. LOL His very favorite is It's a Wonderful Life.

meejay 12-01-2014 11:40 PM

Love all the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen, and A Christmas Story is a family tradition on Christmas eve for us.

lingovise 12-02-2014 12:21 AM

we love ALL of the Rankin/Bass [stop motion animation] holiday films, especially Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. other family favorites include The Muppet Christmas Carol, A Charlie Brown Christmas, Polar Express and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

marlathrall 12-02-2014 01:10 AM

Christmas Vacation. We've already watched it once this year and will probably watch it at least three more times. My husband laughs so hard and i love that.

ChristineF 12-02-2014 02:45 AM

Ever since I was a little girl, the same movie has been aired on The morning of Dec 24th. I watch I every year, and since I started working, I've bought the dvd so I'm sure I get to see it. No Christmas without it. It's called "Tre nøtter til Askepott" (three nuts for Cinderella) and is a Eastern European film about Cinderella. All in the original language, but dubbed to Norwegian with the Norwegian voice on top. One man does all the voices and it's really weird, but it's what makes Christmas morning (ours anyway) special.

I reckon so too... I don't have a favourite. I can't recall ever watching many Christmas movies as a kid (or now). My kids don't watch them either. Most Christmas movies are wintery and that's just not how it is here.

annet83 12-02-2014 04:08 AM

The Grinch!

veggie.brief 12-02-2014 07:12 AM

My (newest) favourite Christmas movie is The Penguins of Madagascar. Just watched it tonight with friends at the cinema. That's a great movie!

drachenmeadc 12-02-2014 07:21 AM

The Grinch and Tim Burtons Nightmare before Christmas. This is a wonderful movie and the best thing, You can watch it twice a year, at Halloween and at Christmas.

Best wishes
Drachenmaedchen

hollyxann 12-02-2014 08:53 AM

A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation and The Grinch

I can't just choose 1...that's nonsense.

fifilur 12-02-2014 11:37 AM

I LOVE Christmas movies!!!! I even re-watch the bad ones, lol.
Some of my favourites are; The polar express, Elf, The santa clause and a new favourite from last year is Arthur Christmas.

carrie1977 12-02-2014 12:53 PM

We love The Grinch in our house.

JennNtheBoys 12-02-2014 12:57 PM

For an "adult" Christmas movie it's National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - hands down.
My favorite Christmas cartoon that I must see every year (and we must see them all) is a Garfield Family Christmas.
and our favorite movie movie that the kids like to watch too is a toss up between the Original Home Alone and Elf.
and though I watch it alone, my all time favorite 'must see' is It's a Wonderful Life.

So hard to pick just one favorite ;)

Saar 12-02-2014 01:10 PM

I don't have one.

Beebo 12-02-2014 01:17 PM

It's A Wonderful Life!

SeattleSheri 12-02-2014 01:32 PM

I don't really have one either, though, Elf is pretty funny.

Lelly 12-02-2014 01:37 PM

Oh gosh, theres sooo many. If it's Christmasy, you can pretty much guarantee I love it!

MommaTrish 12-02-2014 01:41 PM

Christmas in Connecticut followed very closely by It's a Wonderful Life.

My mom is a huge old movies fan and we had to sit through her huge collection of old Christmas movies every year while we decorated the tree. Meet Me in St. Louis is also a favorite, but as I point out to my mom every year (when she tells me I have to wait until Christmas to watch it) it follows a WHOLE YEAR, and only one part of it is Christmas, so really I should be allowed to watch it whenever I dang well please.

LeeAndra 12-02-2014 02:07 PM

Charlie Brown Christmas, of course.

adi&co. 12-02-2014 05:33 PM

Does the Nightmare Before Christmas count? haha, if not, Muppet's Christmas Carol
