we have a cockerpoo (cocker spaniel/poodle mix). she is honestly the best dog. she's not quite a year old yet but she is already so good with the kids and most of the time we don't even know she's here. she won't get bigger than 15-20 lbs, she doesn't shed, and the girls bug her every second of the day and she never once has nipped at them. she does bark at things outside and she's very protective of us (not nipping but she's leery of strangers) but it's not annoying (and i'm pretty easily annoyed).
