I really wanted a balance bike for my kiddo, but ended up with a bigger bike and training wheels. I'm still debating whether I should keep practicing with him with the training wheels on or just take them off and let him try without it. I think I'm leaning more towards keeping then on and practice without training wheels next summer!? My son turned 4 last month.
