I always wanted to be a mom.
Other than that, I wanted to be a teacher when I "grew up". Then I realized that I have zero patience. When I was a teenager, I had a bunch or dental work done...braces, oral surgery, etc. Some was good and some was bad. Dental hygiene started to intrigue me. I went to night school my senior year to become a certified dental assistant. I was going to do that for a while then go back to become a dental hygienist. I married, worked as DH was going to school, then had my first baby. We decided I'd stay at home so i've been "momming" ever since.
I LOVED my job in the dental office. I did a little of everything...front office, insurance work, assisting dentist & hygienists, new patients, consults, whitening, lab work, etc. The work was demanding but I loved the relationship I had with coworkers & patients. I loved being to help people with cosmetic work, calming children down, etc. It was a great job. I'd love to get back into when my kids are older. We'll see
