I'm a kit scrapper. Everyone had some great suggestions. I'd add, maybe find an organizing software that you like or a method to cut down on your searching time.
I personally feel like having all of my stuff tagged and organized makes it much easier to focus. I can look at my "to scrap" tags and then check out my "not used kits" or designer, whatever and it helps me get started.
I did this post a couple years ago on how I organize, it might give you an idea of where to start if that's something you think would help you.
