Default I am back!

I am back from our trip to Europe. The kids survived our 15 day trip without us and Grandma and Grandpa did too! LOL We had an amazing time. Parts of our trip were very eye opening. We spent 5 days in Romania which was our favorite part of the trip. It's still mind blowing that they only came out of communism in the 1990's. I will share a few of our photos from each place we visited.

Starting out with our first stop Brussels

The Grand Place: Right off the plane we ended up doing a 2 or 3 hr walking tour. We were exhausted!

The Galleria: (to the right side of the photo there is an old theatre which has a few rooms they rent out as a B & B and that is where we stayed

Ommegang: The event is focused around a reenactment of the arrival procession of Emperor Charles V in Brussels in 1549

Next up was Budapest, Hungary

The Market in Budapest

The National Museum of Hungary

Szent István Statue

Budapest

Me being silly down in the Labyrinth

Next Stop Romania:

St. Michael’s Church and the statue of the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus in Piaţa Unirii (Union Square)

Inside the church

I think this was the first hotel of Romania

Next Stop Small Village in Romania

The street where our "cottage" was

Our Cottage (actually the nicest one on the block)

Most people in the village travel like this

Christmas Dinner

The Summer Shower

The cows really do come home

Next Stop Layover in Milan Italy: We had a 7 hr layover so we stored our luggage with the airport and then spent the day exploring the city.

Views from the Bell Tower:

Italian Pizza

Bones of Saints? Not sure everything was in Italian

The Trolly car down the hill

Final stop Dublin:

Dublin Castle

Christ Church

Our Tour Guide explaining the Famine Statue

The Guinness Tour:

Kilmainham Jail

The list of the men executed for one of many revolutions

The Oldest pub and our story telling dinner location

Well that's about all. I have over 1000 pics so I am sure you guys will be seeing lots of scraps about it all. Thanks for sitting it out so long to view these ones.
