We've been alone on Christmas day since both of my in-laws passed away (my mom is the only grandparent still living and she is in Missouri). We wouldn't have it any other way. We do gifts early, then eat breakfast. Then we usually all go "play" with our gifts. We've also gone to movies that day - fun! And of course, football is on which occupies all 5 males in my house. Last year we grilled for dinner, we haven't yet discussed it this year, but we'll do whatever will make the kids happy.
I'm hoping to get an eeader this year so I can read all day.
