(Added all the days to one posting since I am far behind on scrapping them I wanted to try to get them all in one place.

Day 1 - I am thankful for every second I get to spend with family & friends because our time on earth is all to short and do not know when our time to go will come so I cherish everyday like it could be my

Day 2 - I am thankful that on July 22nd, 2011 despite losing our son everyone who was a part in saving my son's life was there to do so. From the citizens who pulled him froom the vehicle, to the firemen & paramedics who stabilized him to get him transported, to the nurses, doctors, nusrses aides & the speech/occupational/physical therapy he had. Without all of them in the right place at the right time I could lost two of the most important men in my life.

Day 3 I am thankful for friends and family who are willing to listen to me vent when I am scared or hurting even though they all have their own problems and lives to deal with

Day 4 of gratitude: I am thankful for two things. For the nurses and doctors who are trying so hard to get my husband well enough to come home. Second for my best friend who does not like driving at night came to the hospital to pick me up and would not take any gas money because she had to put gas in her car anyway.

Day 5 - I am thankful for my beautiful granddaughter who I love more and more with every single day. I am so thankful I am here to see my daughter become a mother.

Day 6 - I am thankful my son helped a little while his dad was in the hospital and was generally well behaved for the whole time he was in the hospital.

Day 7 - I am thankful that I got to spend the whole day with my granddaughter and babysit her while her mom and dad got their Explorer registered & went grocery shopping

Day 8 - I am thankful for cooler weather finally after what felt like the longest summer in history.

Day 9 - I am thankful for my friend Laura who sent me beautiful flowers just to let me know she is thinking of me on my son's birthday.

Day 10 - I am thankful for sleeping in on the weekends and then spending some time with family.

Day 11 - I am thankful for all those who serve both at home and overseas to defend our freedoms and keep us safe.

Day 12 - I am thankful for such an amazing husband who is incredibly patient with me when I am moody and says I love you everytime he leaves even if it is to go to the gas station five minutes away.

Day 13 - I am thankful for my creative talents in crafts because they provide an outlet for me for every emotion whether it be sadness, happiness...whatever.

Day 14 - I am thankful for music. It can take me back, remind me of a long forgotten memory, help me connect with my emotions and is another release for me for whatever I am feeling.

Day 15 - I am thankful for manners/being courteous....whether it being someone holding the door open for you, calling to cancel an apppointment if you cannot make it or the use of yes ma'am/no ma'am & yes sir/no sir. They all make the world a better place to live if someone is courteous and uses good manners then it makes you want to behave in a similar manner and causes a chain reaction.

Day 16 - Twenty one years ago today I became a mother to the smartest & most beautiful girl. I had never experienced love so completely unconditional and pure as the time I looked into her eyes for the first time. She has made me proud, made me worry, made me cry and made me swell with love. I love her more then the world and she will always be my little girl

Day 17 - I am thankful for cold medication, the ability to take long naps without interruptions when I am suck and also for ice which makes my throat feel a little bettter.

Day 18 - Thankful for getting out of the house and doing some christmas shopping. I think that my son-in-law is going to be very happy. We got him a small toolbox, a rechargeable drill and some basic tools. Since he is just started out he doesnt have a lot of that and has to borrow from his dad.

Day 19: Taking my daughter out to lunch and finding a doll which looks just like my son Matthew there and his name just happened to be Matt. So I bought it for my daughter.and granddaughter. It was such a coincidence but still felt like it was meant to happen. Oh and I bought my daughter an adorable hat there which she promised to wear for pictures Today was a good day.

Day 20: Going to help my daughter today to get ready for her very first thanksgiving dinner as a new wife and mom. She wont do it every year but I thought this would be a good year for her to try it out and I am going to be there to help with anything she has problems with. I am excited (and this is something because today is just for cleaning LOL) Then later me, my daughter and a good friend are going to see Breaking Dawn 2

Day 21: Today was a challanging day for me. Im not sure why. So I guess I am thankful for having the strength to make it through the tough times and hte harder days like today.

Day 22: I am thankful for being able to spend the day with family and have a good, healthy meal together. I am also thankful for having a place to go when I miss my son the most. Today was 16 months of him being gone and the second thanksgiving that he has been gone. I ate a little extra of his favorite foods today and held his love close to my heart while I did.

Day 23: I am thankful for sleep and a fresh start every morning.

Day 24: I am thankful for my husband for when he does not do what I ask when I am being stupid and listening to me when I am upset and just holding me when I am crying.

Day 25: Thankful for a nice day of rest & scrapping. Tomorrow is back to early morning wakeups, school stuff and house work.

Day 26: I am thankful for fresh starts every morning to have a good day.

Day 27: I am thankful for the special treat my husband surprised me with...cupcakes from Sweet by Holly.

Day 28: I am thankful for our furbabies...both past and present. I cannot imagine life without having some special little furry pets.

Day 29: I am thankful for living in a state where as hot as it can get in the summer has amazing cool nights and warm days in the winter. It really is perfect this time of year.

Day 30: I am thankful for this journey I am on in life. For all the ups and the downs it has made me appreciate what I have and to cherish every single minute of every single day with all of my loved ones near and far.

Bonus: I am thankful for this prompt to look at my life and realize all the small and big things I have that I should be thankful for every single day. Going to try hard to carry that from this through to the new year!
