My baby started Kindergarten today!

And I didn't cry! I was totally surprised (I've cried three times in the past week just thinking about today, LOL!)

So here's my sweet girl! She was nervous at first, but warmed up to things while she was waiting in line to go to her classroom. Then she was all smiles (and trying to make sure the other kids followed in line, of course). ha ha!





I took the whole day off work though so I could be there to pick her up (daddy is a SAHD and he'll get to pick her up from now on!)

Awww Beckie, she looks beautiful! I am glad you got to take the day off to pick her up too! Such an exciting day for her and although hard for us as Mommies, you can't help but be proud of watching them grow..it is definitely bittersweet.

Oh, those pictures are adorable!!!
My son will be starting kindergarten in the morning and I can't believe it!!! I probably will cry, but when I get home!!! (Well, maybe not, I did enough crying when he started preschool, lol!)

When I showed up to pick her up she said "but I don't want to go home yet!"...it was soooo cute!

we had cookies and milk at the table after she got home and we asked her all kinds of questions and video taped the whole conversation. She was really giddy, so it will be soooooo cute to look back on this later!
