Default Gum chewing

I went on a diet a few years ago and discovered that gum chewing helped me avoid excessive snacking. Now, I'm kind of addicted and probably chew more gum than I should. I also find it helps me avoid stress- eating (sometimes, at least).

Are you a gum chewer? Are you one of those who can't stand seeing/hearing other people chew gum? Do tell.

There is nothing i hate more than seeing/hearing someone chew gum... yet I chew gum too. I am a complete hypocrite. I haven't had gum since doing whole30 though since that was something that was on the "no" list..

but seriously. It makes my skin crawl. Especially people who chew it and make little bubble/snapping noises while chewing. I give the death stare to people who do that. My blood pressure is rising just thinking about it right now hahaha. If I meet someone and they snap their gum it leaves a lasting impression on me.. not a positive one haha.

I'm not a gum chewer, but I don't mind others chewing gum AS LONG AS THEY DO IT WITH THEIR MOUTH CLOSED. Nothing worse than someone chewing with their mouth open.

Not a gum chewer - it hurts my jaw and I get really bored with it and I want to spit it out in two minutes. haha. Doesn't bother me if others chew it - unless they are obnoxious about it... you know - valley girl like... chewing like a cow chewing cud.

I am not a gum chewer. Occasionally, I may do, but I don't chew for long, I don't like it after it lost the taste. I don't mind other people do it, so long as they close their mouth and don't make noise.

I do chew gum...not excessively though.

*Mental note - never chew gum around KCB if you ever get to meet her*

I can't chew gum due to my dental work that I had done a few years ago. It sticks to everything and I have a bigger mess. But even still, before then I couldn't chew a lot of gum because I'd wake up in the middle of the night grinding my teeth and in a lot of pain the following morning. I've always been told to not chew gum due to grinding my teeth.

Do I mind others chewing? Unless they are chewing like a cow, rudely popping bubbles or playing with their gum then I don't really care. I mind the chewing sound and have found myself gagging/vomiting from the sounds of it. I find it very rude to have bubbles popping as it's very distracting especially in places like church, school, etc. And playing with the gum...that's just germs. Eww!

I chew gum. So, it's really good that I'm KCB's ONLINE friend. Haha. I'm pretty convinced I do it the right way, but I will blow bubbles and pop occasionally. Because it's fun.

No joke I think it's the biggest reason why I've formed better relationships with my online friends :P LOL

I came off a weeeee bit intense when I first responded. Sorry about that LOL! I won't be mean to people when they do it, I actually have a really hard time confronting people or asking someone to stop.

I don't chew gum. I hate gum. I hate people that chew gum and spit it out on the ground even more.

My hubby is a gum chewer but only to hide the cigarette smell (he still doesn't think I know he smokes). My boys didn't have gum for years. Jason was 8 when he had it for the first time and that was only because a dad gave it to the baseball team during a game. I don't buy gum so thankfully I don't have to listen to them smacking and popping!
