What do you all use as adhesive when making a mini album, chipboard, etc.?

I bought my first square chipboard book and wanted to make it for my Mom.

I am kind of afraid of Mod Podge  (I know strange, but I am always afraid to wrinkle the paper)

What do use to add the paper/elements to the chipboard? (I am going to cut 4 x 4 squares on my Cricut (I believe I am the only person to not be able to cut straight lines by hand or with my paper trimmer..lol)

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Erin. I just use my tape runner on chipboard and it seems to work fine. I get one at Walmart (Ad Tech) that sticks like crazy. There's also a liquid glue that I've gotten at the craft stores but the name escapes me?

I've only used Mod Podge. Sometimes I'll roll the extra adhesive out with a rolling pin, then sandwich it between two sheets of wax paper and weight down with a book until it dries. That seems to work pretty well.

I have all kinds of adhesive but I mainly use my ATG gun and 1/4 inch tape...works like a charm. I also use glue dots and glue sticks for smaller elements.

Modge Podge is great if you use it sparingly and don't glob it on. :) Just smooth it out with a craft squeegee or paint scrapper or bone folder to push the excess out. Occasionally I see little wrinkles, but when it all dries they are usually gone. But Xyron type adhesives work well with chipboard too...if you have a machine wider than your album that is.
