Elf on the Shelf: Photos

Helpful little elf - planting the amaryllis bulb that's been trapped in a box for WEEKS!

Buddy got into Avery's red paint last night and snuck in the kids rooms and painted their noses! (This made Ella mad..she didn't like Buddy painting her nose...Avery didn't know what to think at first but he ended up laughing over it..I think it kind of freaked him out a little though lol)

Skippy brought breakfast from the North Pole. A donut with way too many sprinkles, snowman bagels, and Christmas Crunch.

We just found our elf in the xmas boxes today while getting the tree put up....Is it too late to start do you think??
 
Skippy is going to be in the basement in the morning, so I have to use the flash. That silly little elf worked all night sewing Keira & Cooper each 3 new pairs of pajamas.

The Disney store had a sale a couple days ago, $8 a pair. :) He also sewed himself a little pair of pj's. They look terrible btw, I'm still learning to use my machine. ;)
 
So you guys are inspiring my HUSBAND to do this next year! LOL I told him I couldn't possibly take on one more daily thing, and he said, "Really?? I'll do it!!!" He's trying to find a cheap elf this year so he can start it next year. This is totally something he could get into.

oh my! I can't believe Buddy was able to paint the kid's noses while they slept! Your kids are sound sleepers!! I think the Tooth Fairy gets nervous to go into my son's room because he is such a light sleeper, so I can't imagine painting the nose. What a creative idea!

Oh yeah..mine are deep sleepers. As soon as they're out I can go in their rooms and turn on the lights and even clean a little and they never budge.

Tracy, those are both awesome! I know for sure I'm stealing the Christmas cookie one, maybe the taped to the floor one too.
 
This is our 5th year with Zoobie Fred and by far our favorite! He is more adventurous and a little mischievous because he knows that the boys will soon outgrow this tradition. (but I will continue to put the elf out not matter how old they are!)



Nov 29th:
Zoobie arrived a few days early (usually comes Dec.1) and had a note explaining why. Mommy emailed Santa and told them that the boys were sad that their cousins were going back to Indiana. Santa sent Zoobie early to cheer the boys up.

Nov 30th:
Zoobie is use to our new house and different decorations so when he tried to sit on the mantle he ended up in a vase.

Dec 1st:
He was feeling a little homesick so he hung out with the snowfamily.

Dec 2nd:
Climbing the blinds so he could get to the mantle which is his favorite place to watch the boys.

Dec 3rd:
Made it to the mantle and was resting in a stocking.

He found the root beer!

Dec 5th:
Eating the 4 elf food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup!
