Default I am a newbie!

I am very excited to have just found this website and I can't wait to start making digital scrapbooks. I know this might be a weird question to ask, but what program do you all use to create these amazing scrapbook pages???

Welcome to Sweet Shoppe!!!! I hope you like it. I totally love it and always find that everyone is very helpful and encouraging here!

I personally use, Photoshop Elements 8. I recently upgraded from version 6. I have been happy with it for the last couple years. I will probably make a jump to to CS5 (Photoshop creative suite) in the near. Not because I am unhappy with PSE8 but because I have got to the point where I want more flexibility with my pages and photo editing.

I used Corel Paint Shop Pro X2. I'm hoping eventually to be able to afford Photoshop of some sort, but Corel was a gift from my best friend who knew how much I wanted a decent program- I like it a lot!

When I started, I used a free program called Paint.Net (which you can find at www.getpaint.net), and later upgraded to GIMP (also a free program) so I could add Drop Shadows.

Welcome! I personally use Photoshop CS4, but I think Photoshop Elements is a GREAT place to start (and much cheaper).

Glad you are here! I use PSE 7. You can download a free trial of Elements on the Adobe website to see if you like it.

Welcome! I use PSE 4.0. It's really old, but works perfectly fine. I'm too lazy (and frugal) to upgrade.

Welcome! I use CS3, but considering an upgrade! Definitely download a free trial of something before you decide.

Welcome! Consider yourself warned...This site and digital scrapbooking are ADDICTING! This is a wonderful community and a great place to learn, grow and find support...not just for scrappin' but for just about anything!

I use Photoshop Elements 7. I recommend starting with a version of Elements. Once you get the hang of it you can always upgrade to a much more expensive CS version later.

I got photoshop elements 8.0 at Costco for $79.00. That was cheaper than buying it from the adobe website. But, yes definitely do the free trial if you can.

Welcome!

I use Photoshop 8 also. And there's a book here that I use that helps me figure out little tricks of photo editing and basics of how photoshop/layers work. Of course, there are tutorials all over the web...especially YouTube

Have fun!!
