Default Spring!!

Although it is officially spring i know there are still quite a few of us with snow on our lawns.. when spring DOES finally appear what are you most looking forward to?

I'm eager for the kids to get to play outside more! Playing outside in the winter isn't as convenient as spring/summer.. Lucas NEEDS to be out running off some of his energy so I'll be quite thankful when that happens!

I love spring in FL, it's the best beach weather. Hot sun with a cool breeze. Ahhhh! Also, the water parks open back up for business which is nice. There's a local water park we are looking forward to visiting again.

I love Spring!!! It is my favorite season of the year. More than anything, I like being able to take the kids to the park without worrying about jackets and such.

It's already starting to get quite warm here, but the temps are fluctuating from day to day.

Hehe, we all have the same feeling! I love spring, because those winter jackets can go in the closet again. Kids can loose theur energy in the garden and not by destroying your home ;-) and you can see all the nice flowers growing.
I love the feeling of a promise spring brings!

I love having the windows open! So long as lizards don't get in the house. LOL!

Spring is my 2nd favorite season. LOL I just love being able to go outside without a jacket, but I'm MOST looking forward to taking Chloe to the zoo. She loved it last year, but I think she'll REALLY get it this year. Last year was just "ok, there's a bunch of animals." But now, she recognizes different ones "ooooh! giraffe!" So, I think we'll all have a blast.

Sadly our Springs (and Autumns) are slowly becoming shorter such that we are having more like only two seasons now (summer and winter, with winter never being particularly cold anyway) - due, according to 'experts', to climate change. But, for that short burst of Spring we do get, I love the freshness of the air, brightness of the sky, the green in the gardens, flowers, etc, starting my vege patch again and being able to do more bushwalks and outdoor stuff with the kids.

We are in Spring mode already, however, our Spring doesn't generally last very long before the 100 degree California weather hits. Our Summer weather bloooooows!

It was in the 40s today and it felt like spring - LOL. We had such a cold winter that 40 seems so warm! I can't wait to get digging in my gardens - adding to my perennial flower garden and getting my vegetables planted.

40 today was glorious. I didn't wear a coat. It was so warm compared to the way it's been. Yay!

Yesterday was pretty nice, but it snowed on Sunday and then again today. Lame.

We have had a few nice days, and my favorite thing is to send the kids outside to play at the park that is just behind our house. I can see them from our great room windows, and I love that they can go play for a while without a chaperone.

The other thing about warmer weather that I'm really looking forward to is . . . SLUSHIES!

We are finally almost out of living in a snow globe.... We are on the brink of spring! I'm excited! It should be 50-60 the rest of the week! So, so much better than 20-40's and snow! I can't wait to drive with the windows down and get some fresh air in the house!

40 .... my quick conversion tells me that's 4 degrees Celsius!!!

A really cold winter's day here is around 10 degrees (50F). I would never cope where you are!!! Though I did live in Canada for a couple of years before I got 'old' and started feeling the cold!!

I am looking forward to being able to go for a run outside. It's so much more convenient. Plus I am looking forward to being able to read a book outside while kiddo plays and the neighborhood kids can all play outside.

I'm with Nicole, I'm all about the open windows! Which I usually get to do for about 2-3 weeks each spring and fall and that's it. Our house faces south and no trees, so if it's 80 or above it's too hot to have them open.
