I need some help!!

Im using photoshop cs 2 and for some strange reason i my brushes have stopped working and i cant use my quick mask mode either. i have tried to repair photoshop and i have done a reinstall and neither will work.this is really driving me crazy, is there anyone that could help me????? thanks, kim

hmmm I have CS3 and it only happened once that I could not use my brushes what I did was save them all to a disk (the usb thingy) and deleted them all closed PS and restarted my computer and then used the disk and put all my brushes back and loaded them again
