Default i got my new paper trimmer

yay, my Making Memories folding 12x12 paper trimmer came today. i have already amused myself by cutting up a piece of cardstock.

It is SO much better/nicer than the Fiskars Desktop Rotary trimmer I had.

The surface is magnetic and it comes with a magnetic ruler that firmly holds down the paper while cutting.

I'm so happy that I finally got around to getting a decent paper trimmer. Even if I have nothing to trim at the moment.

Yay for new goodies! I'm jealous because I tried to buy a full-size Cutterpede with my 50% off coupon at Michaels yesterday, and found out our Michaels doesn't carry them, just the Mini.

Keep us posted on how you're liking yours. Maybe Michaels around here has that one and I can get it instead.

No, I'm in Canada so no Joanns. We're pretty limited in the crafting megastores. Basically, it's Michaels and that's it.

I'm close to the border, though, and overdue for a visit to my friends near Seattle, so I should just plan a shopping trip!

I am SO jealous of you Mimi - I kept asking for that for a present last year (Christmas, birthday, etc.) and never got it.

Continue to enjoy it!!

That's the absolute best cutter ever! I LOVE it (and they do sell it at Michael's....here anyway). Congrats on your new purchase! And self-sharpening....need I say more? lol

oh yeah, the self-sharpening blade is another feature that sold me on this. I am not a blade changer.

I've come to realize that Michaels in Canada seems to be considerably less well stocked than in the US. A lot of what you guys will talk about getting at Michaels is never in stock at mine. However, I didn't check for this particular cutter so I'll look when I go in to use this week's coupon.
