HELP! Night waking
I'm ready to sell mt 3 y.o. on Ebay for really cheap... well, not really, but my hubby might! She has been waking for the past week at the same darn time. Midnight. Screaming, crying, asking for water, calling out for me, calling out for Daddy. If we go in there - she carries on. If we don't go in there, she carries on and eventually wakes the 16 month old. She even woke last night - she had NO nap and a dose of Benedryl. Any tricks or ideas of what I can do?

Oh no! No tricks here since mine still sleeps, but I have heard the 3s are notorious for this. I guess I have this to look forward to so I'm curious about others responses.

could it be nightmares?
i don't have kids. so i have no advice. you could take her to the doctor. see if there's something that they can do. |

Hmmmm...sorry...no useful advice lol.
When my 3 yr old wakes it's b/c she needs to go to the potty...and DH has that duty (hey, it's so make up for all the middle of the night feedings when she was a newborn!). Though she actually hasn't done much of that in a while. He actually now brings her to the potty right before he goes to sleep (around midnight-ish). I usually pull the covers over my ears |

My 3 year old has been doing this too. He finally told us that his legs hurt and we think he might just be going through another growth spurt. DS sometimes comes into our room 2 or 3 times a night and curls up on the floor next to DH's side of the bed. No real advice though, but I understand you're frustration.
