Yes I already have my crop-o-dile, I was jsut annoyed that I forgot my coupon. I DID get a cricut cartridge for $40 though, which is awesome. It's the baby one, perfect for these albums I'm making.

I have no need for the big bite since I have an old school eyelet setter that reaches anywhere I want

Woo hoo!!! Picked me up one today at AC Moore, they didn't have any coupons there at the store and as I was swiping my card the girl informs me you can print them at home from their website and print as many as you want!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR!! Could have saved me 40%!! LOL!! But I am dying to play with it now!!

Okay, silly question from someone's who's only ever been a digi girl (and now is making lame attempts at hybrid) - what do you USE an eyelet for?

To attach things together. But it leaves a hole in the middle. When you use the bigger eyelets you can punch a hole in the chipboard or something, and then thread ribbon through it.

Holy schmoly, that is one big arse Cropamadile! I think I'll stick to the regular one for now. It's all cute and pink, so maybe I'll name it like Jamie's new laptop, lol.

Joan - I called Michael's yesterday and spoke with a manager of the scrapbooking department. She said she isn't informed of new things that are coming to the store to stock HOWEVER she is familiar with the trends at Michael's and since the crop-o-diles are 60% off it is a good sign that it's because something new is replacing it! Hopefully it's the big bite!

I have the eyelet setter too but I get really tired and fed up with it! And it can't punch holes in thin metal and acrylic like a crop-o-dile can. So I'm willing to purchase the big one to give it a whirl! I'm really into acrylic lately so I'm sold. Thank goodness I have patience though and can wait!

Btw - yes, you can print AC Moore coupons and Michael's takes Joann's coupons and vice versa. (They just generally have to be from the newspaper, not printed off the computer.)

I'm really tempted to place an order somewhere and get some acrylic albums. SO tempted! I might do it when I order some American Crafts 12x12 albums for my new system. That is a good point about chipboard or metal or acrylic and the big bite.

It's a good thing Jordan ignores my scrap area for the most part, lol

Oh geez, now I have to go too! Thanks for enabling, Bree! I just read about it on Ali Edward's blog too - it now comes in green!

Thanks Mikkel!

I wonder if it will be the Big Bite and the green regular Crop-A-Dile that comes with the case. When I checked We R Memory Keepers site last night, they had a case with the hardware available in pink so that if you'd purchased one before you didn't have to miss out on the case. It was marked as a new item, so maybe they're phasing out the Crop-A-Dile that's sold on its own. What to do... what to do.... the Big Bite is, well, BIG, lol... is it worth having both of them?

Ack, what have you guys done to me?! I wasn't going to get into hybrid in the near future, at least not until I get my crafts area unearthed from under the mountains of disorganized crap that has taken over our basement! Now suddenly, between Michaels coupons/sales, I have a Crop-A-Dile, a Cutterbee Mini and a Cheetah!

Eeeeeeeeevil enabler!!

Ooops, I meant Cutterpede Mini, by Cutter Bee. This cute li'l guy:

Don't worry, I will purchase a big one too. I have a big Fiskars that is ancient and crappy, so would like to find the best replacement for that eventually.

Okay, someone link me up to acrylic albums so I can see what they're all about already. Dammit, look what you are doing to me!!

Thanks, Col! Hmmm, well price should keep me from getting carried away and running out and grabbing some right away. I'm sure after I see a few finished projects I'll get tempted though.

So, is clear acrylic the new black, or what?!... can't swing a cat without hitting some lately!

I know it is for digi, lol. Acrylic elements and alphas have been around for a while for paper scrappers, but these acrylic albums are pretty new. Or new to me at least.

I want ALL of Cosmo Cricket's blackboard albums. Black is so much better than the flat boring grey-ish chipboard. (Robin are you listening??? )

Yes Joan - you surely need a BIG cutterpede. I had the fiskars cutter when I first started and it's not that good.

The Cutterpede comes in PINK and white now. It's AWESOME! But I can't afford it full price and I've only seen it at my LSS in that color (I've seen a lavender color too). So I have the green one I got for 40% off at Michael's.

I am LOVING my Acrylic Albums. I have a 5x7 album of my cruise trip almost complete so I'll post photos when I'm home later.

Col - I saw that white acrylic album on Ali Edwards' blog. It was AWESOME!

Bwahahaha! Too funny.

I got mine at my LSS, HOWEVER I did just order a whole bunch from ebay from Go West! I would do that Col...but order a few (enabler) so it's worth the shipping! I got 2 8x8 wedding albums (one for me, one for my best friend's wedding 2 years ago that I promised to scrapbook and still haven't), one 8x8 that has every other page split into 2 (it's really cool) and one other I can't think of (I think?) and then just a Baby Zoo Animals tag album where just the cover is acrylic for my friend who's sister is having a baby so she didn't have to pay shipping.

I actually thought it'd be easier to scrap than it was. Once I got my hands wet and dove into it, it took a lot more planning and thought than I had expected. It was totally worth it though. I'm addicted now.

I stopped by my LSS on the way home, just for kicks. It still sucks, and they only had 1 acrylic album and it was way over priced. So I skipped on that. But I got some cute things for the baby albums, so that's always good.

They had those BoBunny albums we were talking about, and they wanted almost $9 for it! Screw that, lol! Scrapbook.com has them for $7!
