Default Halloween Costume Ideas..need help

Ok all you creative people!!!! I need some ideas. I told my daughter that she had to make most of her costume this year (with my help) since we are money challenged now. So, she came up with the idea of an evil robot. I have some boxes for the body and maybe the head but I need some ideas on the rest of the pieces and ideas on how to make it look evil. So far I was thinking we could get some fake blood and maybe a fake knife from walmart to go with it but my creativity is blocked-stess level is thru the roof with other things. I'm also gonna do some googling so that might turn up something.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I am completely home-made dumb. I don't make anything that I don't have to, though there have been a million times over the years where I've said "I wish I knew how to sew". I really have no clue. I hope someone can help you out with some ideas!

Aww, thanks anyway. I cannot sew so it would be a craft project and not a sewing project. Somehow I will make it work I just have to find my costume making mojo. LOL

I was a robot for VBS one year. We used large boxes painted silver, I had a silver funnel for a hat, silver dryer vent tubing for arms and then leggings under the boxes. I painted my face with silver faces paint (it was horrible to get off each night). I think the "evil" part will be in how you paint her face to make her look mean/evil.

Use bottle caps for "buttons" on the front...maybe crack some of them like she's a broken evil robot.
