Default all you persnickety prints people...

I'm wanting to make a book with them. It'll be my first time using this company. So tell me what to do. I've already uploaded all my pages (which took FOREVER since i haven't printed anything in a million years), so now i just need to make my book. I usually do an 8X8 book. Is that an option here? So far I've only seen a 12X12 and 10X10. Also - do you prefer a hard or soft cover. And how many pages is the max for a book? Any help would be awesome. I'm so used to shutterfly that i'm lost now.

Okay - i'm trying to do an 8X8 - which i found, but when i go to drag and drop the pictures onto the page, they're sized weird. I uploaded them at 12X12, but they're miniture on the 8X8 page. Why is this?? And how do i change that?

I order 8x8 prints and put them in an album with page protectors, not in a pre-made book. So sorry I can't help. But I will say that having those layouts printed will be such a great feeling! I love to see my husband and son look through them!

I've figured out now how to get them the right size- but now I'm wondering how to get more pages in my book. Right now it's only letting me do 20 pages.

Wish I could help... like Julie, I only have printed layouts with them. You will have to give us a review when you get the book!

I have 141 pages in a book that is on its way to me right now

When you are on step 4, edit your book... once you are in the pages you will see a plus and minus sign on the bottom right that is how you add or remove pages... make sure you do it before you get to the end and start doing it though

if you forget just click the question mark on the top right, all the info is in there HTH

and fwiw, I love all my photobooks from them

If you are taking about 10x10 prints, they have looked into but you can't find albums for them.

Persnickety prints outsources their books so it isn't the same printing as the pages you get from them

This is what I was going to say too. I contacted them once about their books and it was pretty clear that they outsource them and didn't know a ton about the process (I'd asked about bleed/trim guidelines). I ended up going through another company instead and was much happier. I do love their individual prints though.
