Show me.
Show me a clip of some of your shadows with your page view on 100%.
One way to do it - in Photoshop go to Window and make sure that Navigator is checked. You should now see a box with your layout over near your layers and such. Next go to your layout and zoom all the way (easy way is CTRL+ALT+0 or View>Actual Pixels). Use the navigator to move around your page and find the shadows that you want to highlight and then do a screen capture. Layout (hey, that's a peek of Jenn's new kit!) and the zoomed in part

Those are great! I love see close ups on shadows. I love studying the way others use them, and seeing them in paper layouts to get a better idea of how they look naturally.

I love this idea, Trish. When I first started scrapping, I never zoomed in to 100% to see how things actually looked and was shocked when I printed. Now I do it on every layout to look closely and make sure my shadows layer right and have the right depth in that section.

Great thread; I love seeing everyone's shadowing style up close. I'm on my phone now, but I'll be back with something later.

That's a lot harder than I expected-I normally zoom in to 50%, and at 100% I could hardly fit anything in my preview, LOL! I can't put this one in the gallery since Mari isn't here anymore, so credits are below it.
