What's Eleanor and Park? Is it a book?

I really liked that one! I've read a few of her other books and they didn't do it for me, but I think this one is a little treasure.

Yeah, I read Landline and loved the first half, but the second half drug on way too long. Someone suggested I give her another try with this book and I'm so glad I did!

Elanor & Park is great for the most part, but the ending is pretty lame. My girls and I all hated the way it ended soooo much.

I loved that book (the ending was tough for me too). I'm currently reading Landline by her. I like it so far!!!

I've had E&P on my kindle for ages, but I've yet to read it because I haven't cared for anything else I've read from her. I think maybe she's just not my style...

Yeah. When I get to the end I was really confused and thinking if it was a cliffhanger or what.

The ending still has me a little unsettled, but I think I like the message that not every relationship has a clean finish, but they all serve a purpose. Teenage relationships are usually like this. They are subject to circumstances outside of their control. And if I didn't have to worry about spoiling it for people who haven't read it I would give my opinion on the very last part. But I can't!

Anyway, I'm a picky reader but I decided to not pull it apart just because of the ending. I liked it. I cried, so it gets my respect.

From what I hear this one is different than her others. It's not a long read so it's worth a shot. I really enjoyed it because the characters are so likable and it was fun to remember why those sweet high school boys were so refreshing.
