I know there are some cool ziplining places around there (a little drive from Orlando). There's also Bok Gardens. Something else is at the tip of my tongue but I can't remember, let me check my maps again and see if I saved some places around there.

Wekiwa Springs state park has a springs swimming area, canoe rentals, tubing, etc. Its a great park about 20 min from Orlando.

check out http://www.internationaldriveorlando.com/

there is a fun Ripleys Museum, Wonderworks, a fun park, all kinds of fun stuff! Escape room games, zombie apocolypse stuff,

Also about 30 minutes outside Orlando is the Central Florida Zoo, but its honestly not so fabulous anymore.

In Downtown Disney, which is a shopping area, there is a huge Lego store, Hot Air Balloon rides, awesome bowling alley and movie theater, all kinds of themed Disney Shops that is free and just fun to do.

Gatorland is surprisingly fun, especially if it's not crowded. It's not too far away in Kissimmee. In addition to the gator shows, there's some zip lines (haven't done them myself). The fried gator was really good, and we were amazed at how reasonable food prices were considering you're captive there for the day.

If you have time, I'd head to St. Augustine for the day. I really wanted to when we were there last week, but just couldn't make it work with our park schedule. it's about an hour and a half drive, depending on where you're staying.

Go to the Universal City Walk and eat at Vivo Italian Restaurant -- they were able to find something both of my boys would eat (they are older, but extremely picky) -- we went in 2016 and I still salivate at the thought of their lasagna! It was so fantastic we went twice in one week!!

I could never get everyone to go to an Italian restaurant back home...much less twice in one week!

TIP: If you go to Universal and the Harry Potter area...make sure you get the FROZEN Butter Beer ... it is soooooo good (no alcohol in it)

Aside from the parks, we are going to go airboating and also spend a day at NASA, as well as hitting the beach.
