Eva's Final Kit

Hi everyone,

As you've heard by now, we here at Sweet Shoppe have experienced the very painful loss of our dear friend and colleague, Eva Kipler.

Earlier this week, Eva posted her newest kit, Life Unscripted, for the Sugar Babes to create samples for Digital Scrapbook Day. Sadly, Eva was unable to enter the kit into the shoppe before she suddenly passed away Tuesday at the age of 45.

We're pleased to tell you that we've put her kit into the shoppe as her final contribution to us here at Sweet Shoppe. Please know that all sales from this kit and all of Eva's products will go to her family.

This looks awesome, and would've made it on my wishlist anyways. Looking at this, I still can't believe she's gone so suddenly. Only a few days ago she created this, and now there'll never be any other new release from her! That's hard to grasp for me, but how much harder must her loss be for her family!

I'm still in disbelief of her passing My thoughts will continue to be with her family. Seeing this kit really just hit be like a load of bricks and make you realize that life changes in the blink of an eye. Eva was an amazing woman and will be truly missed by so many. Prayers for strength and comfort for her family. This kit is a "have to have".

How long will her products be around? I'm going to wait until Monday so I can buy this for full price.

Marla, I'm not entirely sure, but I'm certain that we won't close her store without ample warning to the community.

I am happy to say that I bought this kit today, but I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I hope her kits aren't taken away from SSD anytime soon, because I have a few of her kits on my wish list.

Are Eve's collabs staying longer in the store than her solo kits?

It's so upsetting! It's so hard to believe she's gone.

Honestly, Julie, I just don't know how long her products will be in the store. Robin left the day that this happened, so she really hasn't been around to take care of the admin side of things. I would imagine that all of her products (solos and collabs) will retire at the same time. I just don't have any idea when that might be.

I *thought* I read in the newsletter or somewhere that her shop will remain open through November. That could just be my own wishful thinking being interjected into my thoughts though.
