Default Summer Bucket

Did you see May's Bingo Card? If you did, you might have noticed #5 Summer Bucket List prompt. Bucket Lists are not something that I do, so I'll have to be creative with that prompt. However when I was checking out DSI's Fab 15 Sale, I stumbled upon this kit

What perfect timing for that kit!!!

The only bucket list I do regularly is one for the summer (though I do have a concert bucket list & a travel bucket list that I haven't ever written down or scrapped).

Here's last year's:

I'll be making another one this year, for sure, since I now have to squeeze our fun around my 4 day work schedule.

I see visit Potawatomi Zoo on your bucket list, LeeAndra. Do you live near me in Indiana? If so, your bucket list for this year should include a SSD meet up. I know Amber is near me as well, so even if it is just the three of us it would be fun.

That's pretty awesome! I love the coloring and the layers!!

I'm just not a bucket list person. I think I'm going to scrap about the bucket at GWL---it's a bucket and if I write the pros/cons of the bucket, it's also a list! Told you I was going to get creative with that one!

Yes, Lorie, I live in South Bend.

A couple summers ago, we met up at Crystal's house (when she was still living in Indiana) with a whole bunch of Indiana & Illinois scrappers. Laura Wilson volunteered her house (and pool) last summer but it didn't work out. We'll have to get something going for this year!

I really don't like the bucket list challenges. To me it's just a worthless page, unless there's a good way to spin it that I've never thought of. A summer vacation challenge would be great. I just don't do bucket lists and even if I did, I don't see the point in scrapping them.

I did this one last year. It was the first time I had done one but it was pretty fun.

you could always do a bucket list that's more of a checklist of a vacation that you had done previously---like a list of all the places that you saw/visited with photos?

I'm really not big on bucket lists. I'm not one for goals, new years resolutions and what not, so it's not a shocker that I'm not big on bucket lists either. Glad someone else is kind of like me in that regard!

So here's a thought on the bucket list, you could do some background paper like this (make it yourself)

And then scrap over it (use it like a pattern paper) with photos coordinating to the "bucket list" idea pattern paper!
