Default Font recommendations

I'm the font queen, LOL, but everything I have is more commercial mainstream because that's what I need for work. I have very few handwritten fonts because I haven't found a big demand for them until now.

So tell me your favorites! What do you use over and over?

I am so dangerous when I get into font shopping, so I would rather go with a thought of which I want, rather than browsing, LOL!

Yep! I love Darcy's fonts too I also get a bunch of fonts from 2peas. I think ScrapNFonts is having a sale right now on all their fonts (it may be over...I can't find the email). Then there is always dafont - my favorite site for free fonts.

I have my handwriting and Darcy did a fantastic job, but I don't love my handwriting, I always think it looks like a kid's! LOL!

I get font ideas from looking at layouts. I love it when people include the font name in the credits. We should all do that . (of course I don't always remember)

I have my own handwriting font done by Darcy. She did a great job. Unfortunately I feel like my handwriting is kinda ugly so I don't use it that much.

I go in little phases . . . for journaling I might use Sunnydale (one of my faves) on several layouts. Right now I'm in a Snowshoe phase. For dates, I use Hootie! a lot.

I thnk the scrapNfont sale ended. but scrapNfont and Lettering Delights seem to have $1 font sales every once in awhile.

here are some font free fonts: http://www.kevinandamanda.com/scrapbook/fonts/

I like Darcy's fonts and Pea fonts too. I have a few of the 2Peas ones...batch31, melissa, miso happy, um.......can't remember but a few more. Suzanne Walker has some cute ones (we can't advertise other sites so, um, google it LOL).
I'm a font addict and always looking for some good ones.

I use Darcy's fonts in almost every LO. Other than that, I love CAC Pinafore, Mareen's Print, akaFrivolity and Segoe. Segoe comes with Vista and the other ones are free. All of them have accents for other languages (hence my love for them, as I journal in Portuguese).

I have purchased a handful of handwritting fonts at

Font Garden

Here is the link to the shop:

SHOP

The are some free fonts in the shop too. The prices range from Free - $6.95, depending how old the fonts are. The one I use a lot is FG Mia.

They have a free font section found here:

FREE FONTS

I also downloaded some free fonts from this blog:

I love my own font Darcy made. Not the best handwriting, but it's mine, so I like it.

I use the pea fonts a lot too. And here's a few fun free ones:

GG Fonts
I especially like Bean, Brookie and Basic. Fabulous ones!

Yeah, you can pay like $10 for Darcy to make one at The Digi Chick.

Leslie at GG Digital designs had a special a few months ago and made anyone's handwriting into a font who submitted theirs!
