Default Can we talk about Paper Cutters?

I have a green Cutterpede paper trimmer that I LOVE!!! I can't find the cushioned cutting strip anywhere!!!! I really want to keep this cutter, but this strip needs replacing in a bad way.

What's your favorite trimmer?

Mine is the cutterpede and I bought three strips when I bought mine! LOL I bought it from Wal-mart and they always seem to have the replacements when I go there.

Just an fyi, it's not green anymore it's white, they have made some changes. The blades are white now too. That may be why you aren't seeing them but they are the same. I buy them at Michaels, Walmart, AC Moore, and online so they are definitely out there. HTH!

i guess my fave trimmer is my new Making Memories one. I have yet to really use it though . But it seems way better than the 2 Fiskars ones I had in the past . . .

Well back when I was a paper scrapper, I invested in a really high-end cutter. I have the Dahle 550. It was around $150, but I've had it for gosh... probably 8 years now. And it's still just as sharp as the day I got it... never replaced the blade or anything.

It cuts perfectly straight, no fuzzy edges... I love it!

I'm with Angie on this one, I LOVE my Purple Cow!!!! I have the combo cutter with the guillotine on one side and a rotary cutter on the other with interchangeable blades - straight, perforated and wavy blades. I must say that the rotary cutter side doesn't get much use though.

I have this one that I use daily (Xacto Heavy Duty Cutter):

and this one is similiar to the one above but has the laser guide light:

I also have this Fiskars Rotary Cutter with interchangable blades:

I use the top one the most - It stays out all the time. Its a GREAT cutter....cuts chipboard like butter!

I love my paper cows trimmer, I have that dual one too. I LOVE the guillotine.

I have been using my scissors and kraft knives more lately with the hybrid projects though. I like that control.

Ditto! LOVE mine- it's the best one I've ever used, self-sharpening and folds in two for storage. Great cutter!
