When you were preggo with your second baby...
...did your waistline expand WAY earlier than the first time around?
 I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant right now and was going to wait until like 14 weeks to tell all my friends and family, but I'm thinking I won't possibly be able to hide it for that long. lol My pants are already uncomfortable. With Allie I wore my regular jeans until 16 weeks. I'm kinda depressed that I'm already expanding and dreading the fact that it may mean I'll get bigger this time around.

Yep. With Nathan my goal was to make it to week 16 before going into maternity clothes and I only make it to week 13. I have a short torso. So when I got pregnant with Naomi I expected to make it to week 13ish again and alas, I was in maternity clothes by week 8. Parker was the same as Naomi. Thank goodness it didn't get worse each time (just the second) or I would have been in maternity pants as soon as I had my BFP

Oh, and I feel way fatter too because my SIL is pregnant right now and she is soooo skinny... she didn't tell most people she was pregnant until she was already 5 months along. She seriously told a friend, "I'm having a boy" after her 20 week ultrasound and the woman didn't believe she was pregnant because she wasn't showing.
 lol

It was about the same for me with each pregnancy. I gained alot with my first though so I was the biggest with her. With the boys I only gained like 25 pounds but I was still a few pounds over my ideal weight when I got pregnant the second and third time. With my daughter I weighed like 95 pounds when I got pregnant.

Congrats girlie!!! Yes, I had to switch to maternity by like 10 or 11 weeks with the 2nd. It's like your body just 'remembers' that it's supposed to expand. lol

I never really stopped wearing maternity. I was too lazy to lose the weight in between my girls. They are 19 months apart. And yes I am paying for it now.

Congrats Megan! How exciting!
I showed very late with both of my pregnancies, but I'm tall, so I attribute it to that. I usually didn't gain weight until my second trimester. Many of my friend noticed the same phenomenon you mentioned. I think it's "body memory".

W/ #2, I was in either bigger size or maternity around 11-12 wks. Your body has done it all before, so it just naturally does it faster and often, harder.

Yep mine did too, it was like my body remembered what to do and just popped! I had to start wearing maternity clothes with my first around 12-13 weeks, about 8-9 weeks with my 2nd and then with my youngest about as soon as I found out I was pregnant! That's how the girls I worked with at the time figured out I was pregnant before I told anyone was because of the under the belly maternity jeans from Target I started wearing cause mine were all way too tight. One of the other girls was also pregnant and she recognized the design on the back pockets cause she had the same exact pair!

Yes, I couldn't hide it with my second... it was pretty obvious at 10 weeks. It didn't get worse with the 3rd, so that's good. However, I am short and don't have a lot of space for baby to go... and well, I did gain more the second time around (but I'm sure you won't, right?!) In fact, I pretty much gain my weight consistantly throughout my whole pregnancy.how are you feeling?

And yep with the 2nd I was in maternity by 10 weeks. And I even have a long torso. But I enjoyed it more the second time around once I was "really" showing since I knew it was the last time I'd be preggo.

I was in maternity clothes as soon as I figured out I was pregnant... I was running and dieting and had a flat tummy but couldn't figure out why my jeans were getting tighter and my hips wider... though, I didn't figure it out until I was about 6 weeks... this was me at 7 weeks. There was definitely no keeping it a secret and we wanted to wait until the 2nd trimester because of all our previous miscarriages! No secret there, sigh...

Congrats!!!
With my first I wore regular clothes throughout my whole pregnancy..no maternity pants or shirts at all. With my second and third I was in maternity pants by my first appt! I popped way early...in fact they did a few u/s from 8-12 weeks to keep checking for twins! I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and didn't wear maternity clothes as early this time around but still early enough to where I couldn't way until 13 weeks to tell people.

oh yay, congrats!!
I don't remember #2 being much sooner, but with #3 it was the first sign I was pregnant that I couldn't ignore (I had a big ole case of denial going on!). Yet I gained the least amount of weight with her and wasn't as big in the end??

Congrats on the pregnancy Megan
With my second pregnancy it was twins, so I started showing by about 8 weeks! With my third, I didnt even time to get out of maternity clothes (between twins and baby 3 is a year and nine days!)

Ooh congratulations.
I showed much sooner with my 2nd pregnancy but i had twins.  I didn't put on nearly as much weight with that pregnancy though.

Congrats!!!
For me, with my second, my cup size went up really soon into my pregnancy. I had to switch to bigger tops and bras weeks before I went into bigger pants.

Yes!! It was bad with the second because they were only 20 mos apart. This time around, I've had 4 years to recover so even though I started showing quicker, I'm not as big as I was with Jo, so I'll take it!

with #1, I was still in my jeans at 6 months and I wanted to show SO bad.
with #2 and each one after, I popped out right away. No way I could've hid the fact that I was pg with them!!
