1. What's the first thing you usually do to start a page? (find a kit, select pictures, etc).
For CT, I start with the kit - sometimes I have specific pics already in mind because of the theme or colors, sometimes I see where the lo goes before grabbing pics. Other times, I want to scrap specific pics, then I'll hunt down a kit that goes with them

2. What's the last thing you do to a page before saving and finishing?
I mostly use templates, so I try to remember to always go through my layers and make sure I've deleted all the template layers lol - I've posted a lo then realized it still said TITLE under my title, or forgot to delete a template flower or something.

3. What alpha do you use the most often?
I often find new faves, and when I find a new one I use it a ton before I find a replacement lol. right now I'm stuck on Zoe's Simply Stamped Alpha 2

4. What font do you use the most often?
^^Like with the alphas, I get stuck on new faves often, and right now it's Christine Writes, the script font by Darcy

5. what are 3 things you think every kit should have?
flowers. lace. painty/stampy splats

6. What color in a palette automatically attracts your eye?
My fave color is pink, but I'm really drawn to kits with blues and greens in them!

7. who is your favorite SSD designer?
There are too many that I loooooove to pick one fave

8. Who do you scrap about the most?
My girls!! But I like to scrap about myself more often now so that my girls will have them to look back on later in life.

9. Do you journal on (almost) every page?
I used to hate it, but then I realized I want my girls to have the stories. One day we'll forget, or I won't be here to tell them. So I always try to journal now. I just mostly journal as if I'm talking to them. I hope one day they'll look back and love the stories I've scrapped and see just how much I love them

10. What's your favorite color scheme for a kit?
Blues/greens! But I'm also a sucker for pinks - and I loooove yellow in a kit!

11. What is one kit that you love but for some reason have never purchased?
The oldest kit in my WL(it's literally a mile long) is Vintage Carnival by Jenn Barrette and Sahlin Studio - I looooooove it, but don't have pics to scrap it with! lol, so it just sits there until I come up with the perfect pics, then I'll grab it. When I get a bunch of kits in my WL like I do now, and then go to buy, I grab the ones I know I'll have pics to use the kit with right away.

12. what is your favorite type of challenge to participate in?
I love challenges that make me scrap something I wouldn't have thought to scrap! Little details or events that aren't the norm... Or just a challenge to scrap a particular thing about myself.

13. how would you describe your scrapping style?
I love a lot of layers, elements, and a lot of photos... Not sure what the style would be called, as I mostly use templates that fit that

14. How many kits to you have in your stash (no need to count, guesstimating is fine, haha)
I can't even lol. I do purge, but only after they're backed up. I currently have 44.8 gb on my pc right now that I still go through often enough to not delete them yet.

15. what kind of camera do you use to take the pics you scrap?
I use my iPod a lot since it's handy, but I recently bought a Rebel T3i... Still haven't learned it very well yet, but I'm using it!!

16. what is your favorite scrapbooking trend?
I love chevrons still.

17. do you own an EHD?
I do but it got corrupted and I lost a lot of stuff a few years ago. I'm scared to use one now, so I just keep everything backed up and on discs and such as well as an extra copy of every photo ever on my pc.

18. what's your favorite type of patterned paper? (stripe, chevron, etc)
tie between a nice flowery pattern and a good diagonal stripe

19. What's your favorite snack to snack on while scrapping?
yogurt

20. Do you listen to anything while scrapping?
All the time. I love to have music going while scrapping. If I'm not feeling my playlist, I just open youtube and randomly play songs.

Really it just depends, even for CT pages. I'm not big on making pictures and kits match or anything so a lot of times it's just I take a picture, then go and see what I'm working with that week and use that.

Probably Bella since a. she likes getting her picture taken the most and b. I usually have more girl things I have to work with than boy

I try to. Even if it's only to get a sentence or two on it.

Lifts.

1. What's the first thing you usually do to start a page? (find a kit, select pictures, etc). For a page that is for a CT assignment (usually new releases), I start with the kit. For pages outside of my CT stuff, I start with photos.

2. What's the last thing you do to a page before saving and finishing? The last thing I usually add to a page is journaling. The last thing I do before saving is sharpening it.

3. What alpha do you use the most often? Any of Zoe's Simply Stamped alphas, Shawna's Color Block alpha, and some itty bitty alphas of Zoe's that are retired.

5. what are 3 things you think every kit should have? I'm gonna go with elements rather than paper patterns I think every kit should have. Umm...I like to have flowers, straight ribbons, and buttons.

6. What color in a palette automatically attracts your eye? navy blue. I cannot resist it.

7. who is your favorite SSD designer? There are many that are my favorites - each designer generally has a "thing" that I love about them!

8. Who do you scrap about the most? my boys, no question.

9. Do you journal on (almost) every page? YES! I love to journal. The main reason I scrap is to tell my family's story and journaling allows me to do that.

10. What's your favorite color scheme for a kit? Anything bright. Boyish is bonus. But not neon bright.

11. What is one kit that you love but for some reason have never purchased?

I love this kit and we do birthday parties every 1-2 months in my family but I never seem to have worthwhile pics to scrap.

12. what is your favorite type of challenge to participate in? Sketch or journaling/prompt related challenges.

16. what is your favorite scrapbooking trend? Pocket scrapbooking! makes for beautiful cards that can be altered into beautiful word art on a digi layout!

It depends on what is inspiring me. If the photo is my main source of inspiration I will start with that, if it's a kit I'm dying to use that I will find photos to match.

Save it for web!

I don't love using alphas... maybe because I struggle with titles. But I love stamped alphas... Zoe, Traci and Jenn have ones I use often.

I love inspiration challenges... especially ones that involve taking an image (not related to scrapbooking) and using it to help inspire a layout.

Not as many since I cleared out my stash. Probably about 300? Haha...

I mostly use a Sony RX-100... a compact mirror-less camera. I also use a Canon Rebel.

Gold foil.

For CT work, I always look at kit elements then decide if I want to do photoless, an album page, or just have fun and see where it takes me. For album pages, it's always photos first, then find a kit that coordinates.

I'm not a big alpha user.

I am usually scrapping for a CT, so it's finding pictures to match my assigned kit.

My stash consists almost entirely of black, white, brown, acrylic, and/or painty stampy ones, so if the kit does not have one (or I don't like it), that's what I use.

I go through phases. I will use one font for 3, 4, 5 months at a time and then switch to another one for another few months. They are mostly handwritten ones.

Stitching, paint/glitter/splosh-y background things, & flowers.

I scrap with a lot of pink on account of my daughter (and it's my favorite color, too). I'll be interested to see what other color I gravitate towards when my son arrives. Yellow? Red? I'm already sick to death of baby blue.

Since I'm a primarily pocket scrapper, I start with the photos. I almost always have the photos into a template before I even decide what kit to use.

2. What's the last thing you do to a page before saving and finishing?
Add embellishments.

3. What alpha do you use the most often?
Yeah.... not so much. I will sometimes use an alpha that's included in a kit to add a title to an insert but very, very rarely. And I used one of Kristin's alphas for my signature!

I use Avenir and American Typewriter for almost all my journaling on this year's Project Life pages. I'm a bit more flexible with my older pages and will use whatever tickles my fancy when I'm journaling.

Journal cards, a pretty curled ribbon and word art.

6. What color in a palette automatically attracts your eye?
Blue, especially aqua.

I'm just a SSD gal. I've been here since it opened and I keep coming back. Love it here.

I journal a "in review" card on every page (monthly for older layouts, weekly for current layouts). I have always, always been a journaler. I have never been one to just use a photo. Project Life just lets me include lots of photos with the story.

I'm sort of in love with #happy from Lauren Grier right now.

Not much of a challenge participation kind of scrapper. If I do them, I tend to do them in the summer when I'm not teaching. And everyone else is not doing them because their kids are home and they have no time to scrap.

I honestly have no idea. I have been digital scrapping for 10 years and have hundreds of older kit on CDs. On my laptop, I have 70 kits from my three SSD designers that I can access at any time. If I want to hook up my EHD, I have several dozen more choices.

1. What's the first thing you usually do to start a page? (find a kit, select pictures, etc). Composition. I use my custom shape tool to develop the page layout. The very first thing I do, however, is to choose a background paper (which may ultimately end up changing throughout my process).
