I'm trying to scrapbook and when I drag the photo onto photoshop, it's telling me that it can't open because that type of file is not supported.
What do I do?? |

The Adobe website used to have add-ons for photoshop that you can download for your particular camera type. Each camera type's RAW files are a little different. I have the add-on for Pentax.

Just to assist in troubleshooting this:
1. have you checked this: edit > preferences > file handling, and then make sure camera raw is checked 2. File> Open As > 2nd drop down box, select camera raw 3. Go to Bridge (top option bar), and bring it in that way hope you get a solution to your troubles. m |

The CS3 camera raw plugin may not support your camera. To check the version of your Camera RAW plugin- on the menu bar go to Help>About Plugin and choose Camera Raw- note the version #. You may need to go to the adobe website to download the latest Camera Raw plugin. If it is a newly released camera you may need to wait until a new plugin is released. that's waht happened when I purchased my Nikon D60
Here is the link for Camera Raw Updates for Windows http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...atform=Windows Here is the link for the different Camera Raw Plugins that shows which camera are supported so you can choose the correct Raw plugin for your camera. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html I found these by going to Adobe website - choosing Support>Updates and then did a product search for Camera Raw. Also if you use ACDSee you can get updates from the company so your Camera Raw files will be displayed in the ACDSee browser window. Hope this helps. |
