I made "Color Your Own" T-shirts for my son's last party. I bought plain white shirts, just washable markers, and a black fabric marker. I found a simple design and traced it. Then I packaged it up with the Take Along Tote and the markers. I used the washable markers so the kids could color it again after they wash it. It was a big hit!

The girl at Bunny Cakes (who rocks it all the time) did a fun laser tag party for her twins not long ago. She also went with the ugly doll theme, so the bags kind of focus on that, too.
But, here's a few links of what she did: Ugly Bag Treats Laser Tag Invites Cookies/cupcakes/eats Other Fun Stuff The stuff turned out so, so cute! Give it a look! |

so at my sons b-day party instead of doing premade goodie bags I just bought a ton of stuf from the dollar store, candy etc and put them in my halloween caldron and called it the black hole and lets the kids pull out their own stuff. Here is a pic

I've given up the goodie bag....it was just abunch of junk that I know my kids broke and then throw away. Now I give $5 gift cards to McDonald's, Wendy's, Claire's, Border's ect......I've had so many parents tell how much they LOVED the idea and appeciated the "goodie" that the kids could actually USE and enjoy!!!!

I have to say the coolest thing Steven every got in a goodie bag was a small jade plant. It was in a small peet pot inside a plastic cup. He still has it and he takes care of it himself. He has had it for at least 8 months.
I also really like the idea of a bookstore card. |
