Default Saving files in psd/tiff

Hi

I have been away from digital scrapbooking for a couple of years (doing paper scrapbooking in stead), but now I got the mojo for digital back again

Just a question, when you have finished a layout in photoshop as a psd or tiff file, saved it for print and web, do you still keep your psd/tiff fill at your computer ?
I did it before, but have to admit I never used them again for any changes.
So maybe it is just a waste of hard disk space.

What do you do with your psd/tiff files?

Welcome back to digi! I save them until I print, just in case I notice a typo or missed shadow or something. Then I delete.

I keep them about six months. I print every 6 weeks or so, but I just purge twice a year. I've got room on my hard drive and don't think about it until I get a lot stacked up.

I'm a save them until they are printed girl, too. As soon as it's in print, they are deleted. I only keep the flattened full-sized file from that point on.

I save them. Because of the way I print them out I'm never sure what size they will be printed. Some get printed only once but many get printed several times in several sizes. I may originally print them out individually at 8x8 for an album and then 7 months later put them in a 8.5x8.5 book and then two years later add them to a 7x7 Blurb book I am doing for Dad's birthday or a 12x12 album. I find the quality is better if a resize the .psd than if I do the .jpg

I save mine. I've gone back and edited (even after printing) more than a few times, so it works for me.

I save them and will continue to do so until I run out of space. Then I'll have to decide if I'll delete or get more storage.

This! I tend to go back in and use my pages as a template when I'm really off my mojo

I keep my PSDs for a couple of months before getting rid of them.

I've kept all of mine. But I think I'm about to move them to EHD. This way, they're out of the way, makes space on computer, but I still have them if I ever need them.
