A Day in the Life?

I would love to do A Day in the Life or a Week in the Life, but I never end up doing it. It would be neat to have, but so much of that stuff ends up in my Project Life album anyway - just a bit more spread out. If I was caught up on PL for this year, I might consider it, but I really want to get up-to-date with one project before I start another!

I was thinking about it... last year I did 12 photos on the 12th day of the month... I didn't do anything for January.... might be nice to just get a typical day down for Project Life since for me I only do the "odd" things that happened in the day - not always the totally boring... hahah

I did 12 photos on 12/12/12 and that was a challenge! LOL!

I have those half-pages already. I used one here, but it was hard for me to design this... it would be SO much easier to do a digi insert than a paper one... (that paper was actual paper--not cardstock--from a Michael's paper pack... hard to shove a 6x12 piece of paper down a skinny insert like that. Blah!).

I did this in April last year and I think I'll probably do it again this year. I just need to pick a day that's "typical" but not boring. I don't do PL so I like to do this kind of thing every once in a while.

I would like to do it--but only once in a GREAT while.

she is doing it monthly this year, but most years it gets done once or twice a year, along with week in the life. right now I'm leaning towards doing DITL once per quarter and then WITL twice this year.

Yeah, she's planning to do it on the last day of every month. I don't know that I'll do it that often but I think it's a really fun idea so I may try it this month. I loved WITL and keeping up with photos/documenting for a day sounds way easier than a week. Plus I find a LOT of my PL photos are coming from the weekend so this could be a good way to get more of a normal day included. I tend to be lazy about taking photos when I'm working since I'm well, working, haha.

well, I'm not going to do insane amounts of documentation considering I already do PL. I'm looking at a mini book I think...just simple covering our everyday life.

I have always thought about doing it but just did not really have the time or think about it. It would be fun to look back on though ...maybe I should at least try it once to add to my PL.

I'm going to do it. Not monthly but quarterly - Feb, May, Aug & Nov. I don't do Project Life but I do like to have these glimpses to add to my P365 photo book every year.

I still need to finish my week in the life book from last year. The pathetic thing is, I think I made it to Thursday and am almost done! lol.

I get so much of the everyday in my PL album that I don't think I'm going to do any DITL or WITL projects this year. Maybe later in the year I'll feel differently (ie, be looking for ideas on a week when there's nothing going on and I don't have enough for a PL spread), but right now I think it would be too redundant. PL has kind of been taking over my scrapping lately; I want to find more time for traditional LOs rather than taking on projects like DITL.

no way...I like the AWITL but not a day every month....I still need to catch up wiht last years a wekk in the life...I only made it to Wed for the scrapping part....

I only got scrapping till Friday and never got back to it for weekend. I got the book printed with what I had (or else it would've never get printed!). This year, I'm doing PL, which is just about the same and way more involved about daily life. As I'm working on my PL pages, I've realized that all we do at home is cook and eat all day long!
