I love, love, love that this call is in the hands of the community--and not just who is brave enough to apply. And that means that it's not just about a "pretty face" (someone who is talented) but it's about who you all think is a good fit--and that says a lot about a person. If her friends can recommend her because they know she is good and that she can keep up with all the things that Babes have to do... well, that speaks volumes, you know?

I think this is the "little girl" dream for all of us, kinda like being a ballerina.
 Sadly, I know I am not ready at this point for that kind of commitment; I don't have the time, the chops or the skills yet, but it is something I will dream of for the future. I'm super glad to see that many of the talented women I think would make a perfect babe have said, yes, I want this. It will make my choices both easier and harder. lol. I already worked on my first nomination for about a half hour, and then my stupid yahoo froze and I lost most of the email. I will get back to it after I get home this afternoon. lol
