I am desperate to find a template like this
http://pinterest.com/pin/124834220892524284/......for Christmas presents printed on canvas. Has anyone seen something like this?

For a mere $250 you can have her do one for you.

Probably. I just saw recently a big instagram photo collage that was similar. It wasn't square & there wasn't a big picture in the middle, but I'm sure you could adjust it. I cannot, for the life of me, remember who or where it was, though.

I think that template was originally given away at Clickin' Moms too, because I have one almost identical to her canvas. Glad Traci hooked ya up!

I agree with this. I think its crazy that she even thinks she can charge $250 for that! Who in their right mind would drop that kind of money for a temp?

Holy crap, $250?!?! Wow, that's a bit much imo. Awesome you made a template Traci! That was so nice

Traci - Thank you so, so much! I'm going to do one of my two grandchildren for one on canvas with photos of them since they were born around their photo. My son has no kids yet, so I'll do a photo of them surrounded by photos I have of them since they began dating - and maybe throw in some of their dogs.
I cannot thank you enough! |

You don't even get the template! She puts the photos in for you. So it's a one and done deal. Wow.

Looks like you don't even get the template for $250. You just get a flattened JPG with your photos. I can think of better ways to spend $250.

wow I thought the 250 was printed on canvas!!

Me, too!?!?! Wow, its not?

Looks like it's $450 with the canvas. $250 only gets you the flattened JPG.

Wow!! That's crazy!! I did see the more expensive one - I just assumed it was larger or something.

And $250 for her just to design the canvas is crazy, I could see paying that IF it actually included the printed canvas. But if you notice she's only had one sale in her Etsy shop so it doesn't look like many are willing to pay her prices!!

Totally agree. $250 for the design only. You still have to pay for it to be printed on the canvas. How long to do you think it really takes to place all those photos? I have done some pretty extensive photo templates (like 50+ tiny photos) and my time was not worth $250.

Ok. So after skimming through the discussion and seeing the $250 I just had to go back and check the link to see what you all were talking about.
$250?!?! [See my eyes bugging out of my head like a cartoon.] I mean I guess it would take time to drop and move the photos in all of those spots but WOW.

ETA: think about it, at just $10 an hour, that's 25 hours. At $25 an hour, that's 10 hours! at $50 an hour, that's 5 hours and at $100 an hour, that's 2.5 hours. It would take me a half hour, tops. I need a new line of work! |

$250 is crazy!! And it's a 2 week turnaround after payment and photos are sent!!

And she only allows one modification... additional ones cost money.
I could see if you were a big name photographer, designing a whole album for someone and charging that much, but $250 for one jpeg? No way. |

THANK YOU, Traci!

Thanks Traci cuz that is nuts I can totally see it if it was the thing printed up on Canvas. I just bought a huge wedding photo printed on canvas and it was about $280 with shipping. So that would totally make more sense if it was for the printed canvas but to just give you the JPG and nothing else for that amount is ridiculous!!!

Traci, that was so sweet of you to do that!
I also think that is a ridiculous amount of money, but think about it, if you didn't know Photoshop or anything other photo editing program, it would probably be impossible for you to do it on your own.

No, not hard - just save it as a tif or png. Good luck - hope you had as great a time as I did putting it together. The template has endless possibilities.

Dumb question - but I've only used Photobucket a few times. I've resized the photo and saved it but when I post the link in the thread, the image still comes out huge. What am I doing wrong?

in photoshop, click on Image>Image Size. Make sure it's 72dpi and 700 pixels x 700 pixels. Then go File>Save for Web. From there you should be able to upload it to photobucket or to our gallery.
See how that goes.
