the Chinese calendar has predicted correctly for me what the baby would be four times, after the fact though. I used the one on thebump.com...good luck!

For instance, this time, I was 37 at the time I conceived, which was during the month of August, which meant I would have a girl...which was confirmed on the ultrasound

I think it all just depends on who you ask...because I know that there are several different of the chinese charts floating around and on one of them it perdicted all 5 of my kids wrong and one another it got 2 out of the 5 right!!

I think you would be more inclined to read up on the Shettles Method. But in all honestly I really do think it's all just a gamble...you have a 50% chance of having a boy no matter what you try!!!

Good luck and remember...at least you'll have fun trying!!!!

I used the bump one and it was right.

I was 25 at the time of conception and conceived in May. And well I now have Kennedy. (although my odds of having a girl were pretty good since J already has 2 daughters) lol

The Shettles method worked for us to get our girl, and it's worked for everyone I know.I'd be alot more inclined to go with that since its based on science. But u need to chart your cycles and get to know your body really well. And be patient! We had to skip ttc a few month cos my hubby wasn't home at the right times. And of course, alot of other factors come into play. Your bodies acidity might be killing the boy sperm, which is where all those crazy 'gender' diets come from. And it seems that genetics plays a part as well, like if u come from a family of all girls, you're more likely to have all girls. I actually find this topic really interesting so I've read up on it alot. You can definitely 'sway' towards one gender or another but yeah, in the end nothing is going to be 100% or even close to it. As long as you'd still be stoked if you ended up with another girl you should go for it.
