Default Another store closing... so sad!

Just read the news a couple of days that the scrap orchard is closing. Even tho sweet shoppe is my home I still buy from other stores occasionally and I think it's so sad that another one is closing. All those designers without a home..... no good news with christmas around the corner.

I still see that the hiring sing is still up on the shop page... just saying

I would know who to contact.....

This is really sad. There are some awesome designers and I hope they find a new home (why not SSD?) I'd love to see Kristin Aagard here!

I would love to see those 3 here as well, I would basically have all my favourite designers under the same roof then!

I am so saddened by that news... SO was my home for awhile along with SSD and it breaks my heart that one of the "big" stores is closing up.

I also love a few of the designers at SO (Kristin Aagard, Bella Gypsy, Fiddle Dee Dee is just a few) and can't believe they are closing. My biggest issue is that I am concerned on the status of our digi scrapping hobby.

Hopefully this is not a trend for the digi sites.

I'm so saddened by the news, especially around Christmas! I also noticed the "hiring" sign in the store and hope SSD snags a few of the amazing talent at SO! I would love to see Scrapping w/Liz, Kristin Aagard and Dream Big Designs here, they are all pretty amazing and I think I'd be a good fit here! <3

It's very sad when Digiscrap sites close. I've been through it 2 times now, and it doesn't seem to get easier! I hope all those wonderful designers and the scrappers who called SO home, will find a new home!

I would also love to see Dream Big Designs, Scrapping With Liz, and Kristin Aagard come to SSD! Best of luck to all of them, no matter where they end up!

I'm sad, too. I was pretty active at SO and am searching for a new digi home. Not easy! So many designers I will miss - I'd hate to have to go to a lot of different sites to find all my faves!

Yes, it's very sad when the bigger stores and communities close. I hope some of the designers and scrappers make SSD their new home. I'd love to see Scrapping with Liz and Kristin Aagard here, and I'm sure I'd think of others if I looked at SO's designer list.

It's sad. But that also means I'll be spending more time here, something I haven't done much of before. I'd also like to see Liz and KristÃ*n here!

Oh, wow. Lots of big names there, hopefully they come here. Not a lot of big stores left.

Cheri, I'd love to see you here, too! And Alice, probably my two faves from SO. But I love all of them.....sniff! I have to say I'm loving what I see here, too. So many beautiful kits, so little time!

I hate to see shops close. And I would seriously go into a deep depression if SSD closed. Plus I don't normally shop anywhere else but SSD.

That being said....
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to see KA here. Her style would be perfect for our store! I think Dream Big would be a good fit here as well.

One can only dream.....

YES! You can't ever retire KCB... If you even think about it, I will fly North, kidnapp you and bring you back to my house where I will force you to design.

She probably knows you'll be here if ssd is here.. we would all be old and wrinkled, probably slow as molasses trying to design.. but you'll have your starbucks in hand designing as you do now.

The Golden Girls of Digi-scrap! haha That's funny. Yeah, no closing here, but, Robin, get over there and scoop up a couple of the girls.

Some of us oldies have seen a lot of stores open, then close again. It's sad if you are a part of the community for a long while, and lose your digi home. There are quite a few great designers there, that I feel would do well here!
