Default Printer Recommendations

I know, I know! Not another one of THESE threads! I have a MacBook Air and am in the market for a good yet not-crazy-expensive all-in-one wireless printer. I was considering purchasing a Brother model, as I've had good experience with them in the past, but Brother is not on the list of Macecommended printers.

Has anyone used a Brother wirelessly with their Mac? Are you using AirPrint? All of this information is making my head hurt! I just want someone to tell me exactly what printer I need, come hook it up when it arrives, ensure it works perfectly...oh, and pay for it too. That's not too much to ask, right?

Well, now I've found a different list that says Brother IS approved by Mac. So, now I'm really confused!

We have three printers - all lasers... one HP (color) and two are Brothers with one as an all in one... with that, we have two mac laptops and two mac desktops set up wirelessly and we don't have any problems - in fact, we had more problems with my dell laptop connecting wirelessly to to the brother all in one than I have with my mac laptop, now. We do have an Apple AirPort - got it after I switched from the Dell... and overall we have almost no wireless/router issues... and I print A LOT! haha

Our all in one brother is a DCP-7065DN.

I have a Epson WorkForce WF-7610. I've had it for several months. Love it so far!

I'm on a Mac desktop and use an Epson (color inkjet) and Brother (laser) wirelessly. I've had no problems. I've always been pleased with Brother laser printers and recommend them when anyone asks.

I use a wired Canon wide format for my MacBook, but my dh has a Brother for his PC and that thing is a workhorse! Hopefully the approved list you found gave models, so you can just pick one from that list?
