Default Enabling for other elements users...

I just got an e-mail from adobe- Elements users can upgrade to CS3 for $299! I don't have the cash now (why did I have to be a teacher-destined to be broke) BUT it goes through the end of July- I may have to save up for this! Had to share!

Did you know if you are an educator you can get PSCS3 for $290 through several websites? My husband is a H.S. teacher, so that's how we got it. I just checked and you can get the upgrade for only $199! I used CampusTech and was very happy with them. I received my software just a few days later. Academic Superstore is another one.

Ohh, really...hmm. I have PSE3 somewhere, lol...(lost it when I had to reformat last week...gotta find the CD). I use CS2 now but I can't upgrade it because I'll need to remove it from this computer and what I want to do is switch platforms in a few months. Too much of a hassle.

Thanks Sheri- I'm running to check on that! (I teach special needs preschoolers, but it is in the public school, so maybe)!

That stinks Bree! I hate computer issues- my laptop shattered and is hooked up to an old desktop monitor- I'm cranked sideways to type as we speak! I gotta tell you I love the launchpad stuff so I'm glad it wasn't all lost!

OOooooh, aahhhh, lightroom! I'm not as good at photography, but my husband was into photography (wants his own dark room) and if I could talk him into lightroom, I bet he'd love it. Then I'd have more time to scrap and better pics to scrap with too- so I'm jealous!

Yes, I saw this and, well, daggone bills! It's such an incredible deal, I swear. And somehow, I don't think we're going to win the lottery this month either.

You can also get Lightroom for the educator's price of $99, my DH teaches 4th grade and I was able to get Lightroom through our local university bookstore using his discount a few months back! You can get it through Academic Superstore for the same price though, I just didn't want to pay shipping & I was too impatient to wait for it to get here lol. I would wait til the new version is released in the next month or so though, it's in Beta until sometime in August.

Well because I'm also a licensed special ed teacher and work for a public school district, it doesn't matter that I work with the little ones! Woo hoo!

The ed discount will save me $- so I may end up getting both- my husband can thank you all if we go broke! LOL!

Oh and you can get LR for only $100 if you have a student or educator in your HH! Although, I'm old-school and prefer PS over LR.
ETA: I didn't check the second page and see that someone already posted about the discounted LR ... oopsie!

If you call to order, use the code : PSEPSHOP50US. Here's the link to order online.

I'm going to wait and get that educator discount after payday comes! !

Ok, forgive the dumb question but we can buy the upgrade from PSE and it will work? It sounds too good to be true since the full version is so much more expensive. Help me understand what I am missing....

It is legit! Adobe does this a couple times a year. I am going to order it at the end of this week! And you are ordering the full version at a discounted price. It is only offered to registered PSE users.

I will forward you my email Jadelyn. I finally got it the other day.

Waiting until payday, but I'm hoping I won't be completely lost with new software!

I am using the trial right now and it is not that difficult if you are very familiar with elements. The shortcuts are different. And the only thing I do not like it the shape tool. It doesn't cut out like PSE does but makes a mask.
