First official NKOTB tour dates are:
Sat, 9/20 - Montreal, Quebec
Sun, 9/21 - Toronto, Ontario
Tue, 9/23 - E. Rutherford, NJ
Wed, 9/24 - Uniondale, NY
Fri, 9/26 - Boston, MA
Sat, 9/27 - Atlantic City, NJ
Sat, 10/4 - Chicago, IL

Have you ever been trapped in a concrete super stadium with the shrill screams of 60,000 pre-pubescent girls crushing any last shreds of intelligible thought left in your poor addled brain?... I have... scarred. for. life...



As designated cool auntie, my brother guilted me into taking my then very young nephew to their concert back in their heyday. (he would kill me if he knew I was telling anyone, lol) It was a horrifying place to be for a hardcore rock loving non-fan who's not pre-pubescent, I tell ya!

I attended one NKOTB concert when I was 15...even I complained about the shreiking girls, or the "Banshees" as my friends and I called them. The girl directly behind me screamed so loud she actually damaged my ear drum.

So, as much as I'd love to see them again...I'll pass. I'll live vicariously through all those that do go, and I'll enjoy whatever music they choose to release.

Wow so it's really happening huh? *giggle* My sister had called and told me that they were going back on tour but I didn't believe it. I was in LOVE with them back in the day and my parents never took me to see them. It took me along time to get over that. LOL I think I would like to go see them now just because I still have all their tapes (now that's a word I haven't used in a LOOOONG TIME ROFL)

The NKOTB site msg board gurls (yes, there really is a NKOTB msg board with thousands of rabid fan-agains on their website) think that they're releasing these first few dates as 'tests' to see how many tix they will sell and how fast so they know how many more dates, how big of arenas, how much to charge, etc.

If I absolutely HAVE to, I'll go see them in Chicago, but I'd much rather go to Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus, or ideally Indy, of course, so I'm holding off to see the other dates before I get tix.
