Default Show me your Christmas Gift Pinboards

Okay, now that I'm super broke and we're getting closer to Christmas, I need some ideas.

Do any of you have DIY Christmas gift pinboards?

I'm totally DIY Challenged, and I can't afford a lot of supplies, but I'm guessing if a few of you showed me your pins, maybe I can figure something out that meets my level of expertise (um... think 3-year-old in terms of my "craftiness") and my budget (again... I think 3 year olds have more money than I do... lol).

Here's one I've started, it's general Christmas stuff but includes a fair amount of DIY gifts I may consider making:

The most interesting thing I've found so far is the homemade vanilla extract.

Lena, several people... my grandmother, my mom, my 11 year old brother, my dad...

...my brother and my dad are the hardest. My grandma can easily be won over with a knitted scarf. And my mom, I am toying with the idea of figuring out how to etch glass. She's part of a Bible study that is ALWAYS taking meals to various ill members, so her dishes go out a LOT. Etching her name onto it and adding some cute monogrammed tea towels would make her more than happy. But I have to figure out how to etch first, kwim?

But any ideas will be appreciated, because the whole family is trying to streamline and switch to more handmade goods this year, so they'll be wanting ideas, too. Lol.

If I do the glass etching for mom, this would be a PERFECT addition to her gift!

I don't have a DIY pinboard, but I did want to point you in the direction of something you can use for the glass etching that makes it really easy to do. http://www.etchallstore.com/

Jenni...

The glass etching idea sounds PERFECT for your mom!! Wow I think you should do that!! Hey we live close to each other ... and my Silhouette SD can make the "stencil" for you ... if you want to meet up ... I'd be happy to cut you a bunch of stencils so you can do that for her.

Just drop me a PM and I'll give you the details on how to get ahold of me ... if you are interested in that idea.

I found this yesterday - it's more like something on top of the gifts then a real gift, but I love these:

And they seem pretty easy to make and the supplies shouldn't cost much either.

Etching is such a good idea and super duper easy.

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

I don't have a whole lot on mine, but there are a couple of easy/cheap things.
