Today I am thankful for books. They are such a huge part of my life. I look to them for comfort and for fun. I love getting thrown into a different time and/or place and imagining myself in the characters' shoes.

Today I'm thankful for the support of lovely friends - both in real life and right here! Trying to ditch the smokes is so hard, and knowing I have people backing me, cheering me on and even helping me up when I fall means the world to me. It helps me so much, and I could never thank everyone enough

Today, I am thankful for my job. Not only does it allow me to bring home a check every month and have super insurance, but it also gives me a feeling of achievement every single day.

Today, I am thankful for my Foley foodmill, which allowed me to whip up a batch of homemade applesauce in a matter of 20 minutes to have with dinner tonight

Day 3: I am thankful for having my mother "on call" 365 24/7. No matter what, she is always there if I need her...for anything. I seriously have the best mom in the whole world!

Today I am thankful for my wonderful husband who reminds me everyday that there really are great people in this world. He'd do anything for me and our kids and we're so very lucky for him.
Last year he had a rare form of cancer and the thought of losing him reduced me to tears more times than I can count. We're a year cancer free and praying that we never ever hear that word again.

All to often I take it for granted that I have easy access to medicines that make and keep my family safe and happy! That keeps them healthy and helps them from getting sick and getting others sick! So today I'm thankful for the miracles of modern medicine!!

Today I am SO thankful for my bed! We paid WAY too much money for our mattresses and I argued with dh that is was ridiculous to spend so much money on them...6 years later I am SO so grateful for my amazing and comfortable mattress. I spent the night at the hospital while my middle dd had a sleep study done and I had to sleep in a chair... thank you God for my comfortable bed!
AMEN! whew!

Today I am thankful for...my health insurance and my eye doctor...I think I have an eye infection and it feels good to be able to go to a doctor of my choosing without any hassles or concern...I know this is not an option for everyone...

i am thankful for my glasses without them id be nearly blind and not be able to do the things that i need to do on a daily basis.

Today I am thankful for my Uncle Patrick, Buying a house is hard but having to get a contractor in and know wheather hes trying to scam me (which happened with my first house I ended up replacing everything and the house was only 2 years old but I was 19 and stupid) having him with me today when I was getting the consults done and watching him say you don't need to get the contractor to do that me and your cousins will have it done in no time! He saved me a lots of money and also made me feel like I wasnt alone in the process. x

Day 3: I am thankful for my husband. He is super dad and hubby today. He watched the kids while I went back to bed (I have a cold and feel horrible), cooked me breakfast in bed, AND went to 7-11 and got me the biggest Coke he could buy. I think I will keep him.

Today I'm grateful for amazing teachers and the 2 great schools that my kids go to. I saw one of them in action when I volunteered in my 2nd grader's classroom this morning and also had the chance to talk to one of my kindergartener's teachers in the hall.

Today I am thankful that God always provides for my family. There are times that I don't know how we will possibly make ends meet, but somehow God always provides what we need. We may not always have the money for the things we WANT, but I don't have to worry about having a roof over our head or food to eat.

Today, I am thankful for a team going to conference championships. I'm thankful for the players, our amazing city's team ownership, the fans and the way that everyone was willing to brave cold, rainy weather for our playoff game last night. I am so thankful for Sporting Kansas City, my amazing amazing team that I love. I bleed Sporting Blue!

Nothing like missing THE SECOND DAY OF POSTING. Oy. Day 2: Yesterday technically, I was grateful for my amazing friends who are always there to support me when I need them. Day 3: Today I was grateful for food again. A KFC famous bowl, to be specific. I'd been craving it and man did it hit the spot. I'm gonna have to make my own at home one of these days.
