So Proud of my boys <3

So we had our first Cub Scout meeting last night. It's all happened very fast! We went from thinking about signing Karsten up, to Patrick being the Den leader! We've had no experience with this program before so I've been pulling my hair out for days learning everything I can and getting everything prepared.

All three of my boys did so well <3

Scouting is a fabulous thing. My brother is an Eagle Scout and I have hte girl scout version, the Gold Award.

Aw, they look so cute in the uniforms! And good for your dh to volunteer and help out - it is so good to participate alongside the kids!

We have a Cub (his second year) and a first time Beaver (for the under 7 crowd). DH was a Beaver leader last year, because of not enough helpers, and I'm "volunteered" into it this year as well! And neither of us ever did scouting, so its a big learning curve. We each lead 3 meetings during the year, so have to come up with appropriately themed story/song/craft.
