Default Show Me Your Pages, Please

I am struggling to scrap my boys, they are all teens now and kits are starting to feel too young for them.

Show me how you scrap your older boys/men in your lives, please.

Thanks!

Sorry, I can't quite help you out! My husband and I have 4 girls- 3 teenagers! I'm sure someone will have some examples ideas! But, I can do a search in the store and find a few kits that seem more teen:

I would say, go a little more messy/grungy/paint/splatters for the teens pages- it will match their rooms!

I have a teen boy and scrap whatever photo I can get of him. Recently, he has been very receptive to taking photos so I'm jumping on every chance.

Some recent pages I have done of him:

And it helps that he plays basketball so I get tons of pages that way

You are MY inspiration for teenage boys, Tammy! You make great pages for them! But I feel your pain. It's so much easier to scrap them when they're little; kits for little kids are cute & fun, and it's hard to capture who they are in a kit now.

Here are a couple of mine:

The struggle is real! Aside from how hard it is to find good teen boy kits, my oldest hates having his photo taken. Finding new science, technology, or video game kits to use for him feels like a lottery win every time. Here are some of my older boy pages:

I can sometimes still get away with using "cute" stuff if it fits a photo perfectly, but most of the time I avoid it.

Good luck!

I like to use grungy, stampy type kits for my teen boy pages. I buy a lot of Studio Basic kits for this reason. She usually has lots of elements that aren't flowers although I do use the occasional flower.

Thank you so much for sharing, Rachel! I've found that I may have to start skipping the cutesy ones as well. Plus, my style leans more towards grungy art type kits, so the cutesy ones make it harder to scrap.

Thank you for sharing your gorgeous pages with me! My boys are the same. Getting pictures, especially of my oldest, is like pulling teeth at the dentist. They hate it with a passion.

These are great! My youngest is 12 now (wasn't even thought of when I started digi-scrapping!) and I tend to go really plain scrapping him in order to not make it look baby-ish. Great inspiration in this thread!
